So I pretty much have to buy a nova belt if I want one since magnus is pretty much impossible for average funded players.

I thought people said that the mini bosses only drop the cape and shoes.

First of all, you scroll down in the shadow store until you find it. It'll be in the "special" section or something.
Second, I believe you can get them from Velderoth, but I'm not sure about that. I know for a fact that you can get nova equips from Magnus though
