How good is SteinsGate?

It was freaking amazing try to watch it in dub if you can find it as this is one of the anime that are better dubbed.
It's pretty great. Just keep on watching even if it seems a bit boring. Things get serious later on.
I make sure to watch it alongside anyone I recommend it to just so I can see their reactions as the story progresses.
Easily one of my favorites. Just watched the movie this morning actually.
i love steins;gate #1 anime fo sho
you better prepare your mind and heart if you're planning on watching this
I liked it. It's no 10/10 in my book but it's very good and I'd gladly recommend it to anyone looking for a good show to watch
@dexslayer: Some people here wrote paragraphs on why you should continue to watch it. I'll be concise.
Out of its 24 episode run:
1st 11 episodes: Mainly comedy. No engrossing plot yet.
12th episode: Stuff gets real.
Rest of the series: Story stays serious and engrossing.
It's alright. 6/10
The first few episodes don't really explain anything, so it leaves so many loose ends and makes no sense, so that puts a lot of people off. But I'm not a guy who gives up so easily on something, especially when I heard about it getting better, so yeah. Once Kurisu gets added to the Future Gadget Lab, it goes into more of a comedy thing, and provides a lot of character interactions that don't seem like a lot, but really help show each character in their own way. Around episode 10, the conflict starts getting brought in, and then episode 12, things finally kick into action. If you aren't loving the beginning, its not that the show "gets better" halfway through, but its feel, its motives, its characters, its everything changes at that point. Nothing is the same, and it doesn't even feel like the same show, but what adds to its greatness is that the anime was willing to sit through 10 or so episodes of, well frankly nothing, in order to show the characters acting, well normal, and then when each character gets taken out of their normalcy, it becomes all the more powerful. Sure, the show asks for some patience, but in my opinion you are well rewarded for it.
This man knows what he's talking about

I personally felt that it became worse as it went on... The near endless attempt to save Miuri's (the disabled girl?) life was a bit too boring. Either way I loved the anime though.
As everyone has said: it starts slow, but it is definitely worth the watch.
its pre interesting imo
one of my fave
I thought it was slow when I first watched it, but after that I've watched a lot more and i'd say that i've watched much slower so i wouldn't mind if i were to start the series again today for the first time. to answer ur question its worth it to finish, a lot of casuals talk about this show and it's not bad to have another conversational piece when u talk with others
Most people say that the beginning is pretty slow and dull and I do agree with that, nevertheless it is indeed a very interesting watch. Definitely give it another shot if you have the time.
I couldn't get past episode 2 so I don't think I'll continue. Too bad but it's whatever.
I have to agree with @PydrexLoL
it was just a tad bit slow in the first few episodes, but it got intense soon after, and at episode 7 it seriously blew my mind. from that point it was impossible to stop watching it.
in short: simply amazing anime
It's decent. It takes a while to get going, but I seemed to like the earlier world introduction better than whatever 1-2 episodes they gave each side character toward the middle-end of the series. Also, they should have ended it at episode 22. Anything after, including the movie and OVA, were fairly consistent but just seemed extraneous.
episode 1-3 was slow for me, but the comedy kept me interested. however if you keep watching, you won't be able to drop the series till you finish it.
It's one of those shows that almost everyone will like assuming you watch it till the end. I'm just going to say that I liked it from the beginning, which I assume contributed to my intense love for the show.
