Anime/Manga that need to end
What are some anime and manga that you think need to end?
Bleach needs to end since it's just getting more and more dull. Hajime no Ippo needs to end since it's so slow paced. Case Closed needs to end since the over-arching plot is mentioned like once every 50 episodes.

As much as I enjoy it, Nisekoi should get axed because then we can get a conclusion, my god.
Sword art online. I read some spoilers of the novel and it seems that they are extending an arc beyond its relevant point. The anime is ok, it has its highs and lows.
There will be a naruto spin off short series for his kids so idk how that'll be but could be lame since they are all in a time of peace and there will be less action.
Tokyo Ghoul needs to like.. stop building more questions lol but it's a good read.
Fairy tail almost seems like it going to end. Zeref may be coming
Definitely Bleach and I know some people will disagree but I think One Piece Anime should go on a hiatus until they can give an episode that's not total 10min Flash back of opening, 9min of dragging scenes and maybe 1min of progression...It's understandable since the Anime is pretty close to the Manga.
@0kevqn: the solution to that is either a) they didn't need to adapt the stuff the '99 series already did (and did better imo) or b) separate the anime into seasons, because i don't consider seasons w/ breaks as tedious as year-after-year-after-year episodes.
everything over 500 chapters or 52 episodes
i'm only generous on chapters because...maybe...Berserk will take that many to finish.
I pretty much agree on this - most anime that go over 52 episodes tends to begin losing quality. Recap episodes, useless filler or falling into the "monster of the week" garbage tend to happen with shows that go over the "golden number". There has rarely been an anime that has been able to maintain quality for longer than 2 seasons and the only one I've seen personally is The Slayers, as they are smart with the series, making each season a self-contained story. I've also heard Ranma 1/2 breaks the "curse", but I never saw it.

I agree, I wish it didn't go on hiatus again though
@LitheMovement: each part is standalone and technically has its own title? there's also not really a "dragged on" feeling b/c of the portioned nature.
that's how i'll justify it...
@LitheMovement: eh i mean...parts 7 and 8 are entirely disconnected from anything else. from there it depends on how much you think cameos matter in terms of arc vs. separate work. especially when each "arc" varies in tone/genre.
in the end, everything except part 7 has JoJo's Bizarre Adventure in the title.
@Deciduous: Lol well I guess that's how it goes. Still seems like arcs to me but I know what you're getting at.

Isn't JoJo effectively over 500 chapters?
If people still enjoy it, it doesn't need to end.

Naru- "Oh"
Hajime no Ippo is an amazing anime, but how good can a boxing show be on drawings? I'd never read the manga, but it needs to get another season
Bleach does need to end. I needed to end hundreds of chapters ago.
Never read hajime no ippo, can't say anything about it.
Case closed really isn't about the main plot. The main plot is just an excuse. What case closed is about is each short individual case story.
