Anyone attending Record Store Day
As some of you know this Saturday the 19th is Record Store Day, with thousands of shops round the world participating. Who is going? If so what exclusive releases are you looking to pick up?
Personally I am after:
The Zombies - Odessey and Oracle
Nick Cave and Warren Ellis - West of Memphis
Deep Purple - Shades Of Deep Purple (mono)

It's definitely growing, for something that was North America exclusive just a few years ago it is now huge, there's at least 20 stores in my city alone in Australia that are participating. Live bands on the day, food, sales, exclusive titles, it's a fun day out.
I collect cooler things like watches and heartbreak.
I've gone a few times in the past with a friend who is an avid vinyl collector. I never buy any myself, but it's fun to look at what's out there.

I have a very busy week ahead as well, preparing for my 2nd lecture, but I'd rather take an hour or so break from it than pay the 5x price hike for each record the next day on ebay.
