Tv show recommendation

Just finished Battlestar Galactica (which was incredible apart from the finale) and looking for another TV show to help me pass my time at night. Fairly open to genre but must be at least 2 seasons old (prefer if it has finsied).

Currently considering The Wire, Dead Like Me or Sopranos.

Thanks in advance.

Supernatural (I literally always suggest this in these kinds of threads)

Primeval (British series though, not American)
Criminal Minds
Nikita (CW)
Vampire Diaries(CW)
Futurama

Lol I watch alot of CW...

[quote=2005chuy]Based on AD try Community and Parks & Rec

Love Community, apart from the last season, could not watch past the 2nd episode. Parks & Rec actually is very high on my list of shows to watch.
Enjoyed most of That 70s Show, but absolutely hated Raymond and Kings of Queens. Thanks anyways mate

Sherlock (It has exactly 2 seasons! AND OMG THE WAIT FOR THE NEXT SEASON LIKE HOW ABOUT NO)
I heard Supernatural's good.
I've also heard Buffy's good.

I actually watch like 3 on-going T.V shows... DW, Sherlock and Detective Conan (which is an anime).

Edit: Ugh I can't believe I forgot. You should also try Louie, it's probably my favorite tv comedy of all time. A little biased though because I'm a huge Louis CK fan.

Most suggestions I have seen.
I think I might have to put Mad Men, The Wire and Sopranos in a hat a draw one out randomly.

@dimo: If you want some comedy or something to casually watch, try the series Drawn together or Robot chicken on project free tv (Just google that. It's a tv show episode database with working links. Works for any tv shows you can imagine.)

edit:
On the go - Quick shows for quick dinners:
(22mins/ep) Drawn together : A reality TV show making fun of stereotypical characters of other TV shows. Its animated.
(10mins or 20mins/ep) Robot chicken: Hilarious multi-parody 3 seconds to 2 minute skits made using claymation or action figures.
(60mins/ep) BBC's Sherlock holmes : Great mystery tv series on sherlock holmes. Wouldn't say it rivals the movie but it comes pretty close.

Either the Sopranos or The Wire.
I'd honestly start off with Sopranos and then The Wire.
But then I like both probably just me though.

The Wire was good. It'd help to know what you've seen/liked already.

The office. a lot of dry humor but it is definitely a fun show to watch. Sopranos is pretty good. I introduced it to all of my housemates and they finished 2 seasons in a week. Doctor who is a pretty thought provoking show (If you havent watched it, start with season 6's episode "Blink" by far a great episode).
But then again, these are just recommendations. People usually don't watch shows that other people suggests (idk why, maybe a psychology thing).

Best three dramas going on right now imo

Mad Men
Breaking Bad
Game of Thrones

Arrested Development for comedy

Never seen it, but I've heard great things about House of Cards
