I dont know what the plot is anymore Between Nexon not filling in a lot of details, some obvious retcons and many other things... I have no idea what's going on anymore. I get that some time in the past, the White Mage became evil and turned into the Black Mage, recruited a bunch of generals and tried to conquer Maple World. He was sealed away by the 5 heroes. Or was it 6 heroes? apparently, it was really 6, and one was just forgotten. Roughly 900-1000 years later, the Black Mage begins his return as his general re-emerge. Or was it 100 years? The story can't seem to decide. Even MapleStory 2, which is supposedly set before the Black Mage, has massive modern cities with cars. where is my hog mount? It's bad enough my SP is still broken but I patch and log in and find my hog mount and rider skills are both gone. The hog I've had for years is gone. You can not tell me Nexon broke this too because I am NOT paying NX for a mount. That's out of the question.
Back in my day I started playing MS in early 2007. Back then, we had 4 job classes and 3rd job was the highest job. Exploring was done between Victoria, Orbis, Aqua Road, Ludibrium and Amoria. The only way to raise DEF was by getting new equips. Scrolls were limited to 100%, 60% and 10% and limited to what stats you could get from them. The only speed boost was paying 20 mil for a tamed hog when you got to level 70, unless you were a Thief or Mage and had those skills to boost you. It was often necessary to buy equips in FM because anything above level 40 would rely on enemy drops and they were rare. Shopping in FM could be a chore because all equip names were in white and there was no difference listed to tell apart stats from below avg to
fake Nexon spam email? I got an email from "verifynet" about a requested change of email address and to click the link to verify. Thing is... my account is linked to another, older email address and the message shows my ID as the email it was sent to, while my account's ID is a random username. I've not ever used my current free email with Nexon. The sender and link provided seem to check out as valid Nexon but the fact I'm getting it makes me suspicious. My account's not been hacked, I just logged in and checked and everything is still there.
my gripe about the crystal chests Is that the watermelons, ice cream pops and sundaes we get are a special non-tradeable type with an NPC sale price of 0. There was no reason for Nexon to do this. They can't be sold(and you will get a lot of them) and they don't even stack up into the same slots as the standard store versions. I could actually make some money off these but as it stands, I have to find surfboards and out of 600 or so boxes I have found 1 green and 1 purple board. I made more money off maple weapons, a lot more.
110 HP or 6 DEX? Assume I will not be using any cubes on these to reset potential I have 2 pairs of Canopus boots for my Mechanic- 1 offers 110 HP potential bonus(plus 44 accuracy which, with the current accuracy formula, isn't worth much) and the other offers 6 DEX bonus(plus 3% INT which is all but useless). HP with mech active is 5194 without boots, 5300 with. Damage without is 4756 - 6605, with is 4796 - 6601. My inclination is to keep the HP boost but my HP is already high even without it. The 6 DEX offers a minimal attack boost, but again, Mechanics are getting nerfed pretty hard with Chaos so any boost might help.
Is the Starling familiar worth owning? Does this familiar card do any worthwhile damage, or is it just to show off?
Im going to miss Red Leaf High Now that the game is down for the update, Red leaf High is over with. I went from level 170 to 193 from this event, doing the free daily key, whatever NX I could get from surveys(usually enough for 1 to 3 keys per day from watching videos and visiting sites for 32 NX each) and I bought a 10K NX card which got me 27 keys. This last day I managed a nice 6K NX off some surveys which got me 16 keys. I probably could have got to 195 if I'd realized sooner that buying keys in batches of 10 gave a free 11th key. The people who spend lots of money on NX cards probably did better than me in that regard. I did lose 2 keys though- died on one at the 3rd round, and the game crashed on me in the first round of another key.
we can no longer use mounts in FM That's one of the skills that got removed from FM, it seems. The problem is, if you go in while on it, you can not unmount and if you can't unmount you can't open shop. I don't know why they did this at all but removing the ability to use mounts in FM just seems like a slap in the face to people who actually take the time to earn or buy them. I use it to shop faster and to hunt for open spaces faster, I guess this is more of their "balancing" stuff which really doesn't do that.

Im officially done with earring crafting I've crafted- and fused- about 200 pairs of Half Earrings so far, and out of those I have got 3 that had excellent potential, and of those 3, only 1 has actually sold. No one even wants 6% earrings anymore, people won't buy below 9%. I have a 6% INT and a 6% INT/6% LUK earring that no one wants. Checking prices in FM I see that 6% pairs have gotten cheap, even the 6% DEX pairs aren't more than 20 mil. Just today I crafted 16 pairs(which was 6 total trips into the intermediate fields for bronze ore, plus the intermediate crystals I had to use), and of those 16 crafted, 1 was potential. I fused them all, got 1 potential pair out of those 8 fusings, and it was junk. Then I fused it with another potentia
Ive had my fill of Miracle Cubes I bought a Falcon wing hat with potential, got some more NX through those "surveys" and have cubed this thing 5 times. Each time, the potential gets worse and even more useless. I started with a 120 DEF/3% DEF rating, and now I have 2 lines that add accuracy. Accuracy. The one stat they should just remove from the game because it no longer does anything. I know I'm not spending out of pocket by earning survey NX but really, this is kind of bad. If I had bought an NX card and bought 5 cubes I'd be beyond annoyed, because i have to believe they've set this system up to give bad potential on most resets. I'd rather just buy another scrolled potential hat and not worry about these cubes.

I left such a comment in her store once and now she's attacking me in her store title and claiming I stalk and harass her. Some people, they have serious entitlement issues, and go out of their way to act like children if you so much as tell them they're behaving like a child. Though this type of behavior is pretty common of Bello players and has been for years, and if server transfers didn't cost such a fortune I'd move to a new server.
no enemy Hp bars, cant mine, games sluggish Ah, more of Nexon's goofy nonsense. I know the game worked right yesterday but today, I can't mine rocks at all. I get that stupid "you cannot collect it yet" message almost every time, and when it does seem to try to work, I get the first frame of the chipping animation and then it stops. Enemy HP bars aren't working at all, and the game's frame rate is just spotty at best even in areas it shouldn't do this. And this isn't new because I had this problem one day last month. Just as well, I can use a few days off from the game. can anyone else Not buy from Strange Ornate Chest? The Strange Ornate Chest in ToT... I get constant "you don't have enough in stock" errors when trying to by from this and I've reported this to Nexon twice, both times they ignored it. I should be able to buy one of each item that it has a day. At best I can buy junk scrolls and those +30 attribute items, good stuff like mineral and herb bags can never be purchased. Stuff in stock can not be purchased.
Mining is no longer profitable When AB recipes started dropping I could sell adamantium and bronze plates for 1 mil each. The prices gradually dropped, but seemed to fluctuate between 500K and 750K per plate so I still made good money at it. Now? Can't even get 250K per plate anymore. Bteween 4 miners and 1 forger I can get about 50 of each plate a day, near doubler that if I go into the maps at night when fatigue is down and grab more brown veins. All 5 of my miners are at level 10, I can send 4 out to collect black and purple veins and the 5th to forge crystals, but people only buy the black crystals. Dark, LUK and INT don't sell at all and Lidium only sells very rarely. I could drop the prices- though I am already pricing them far less t
