How to make your computer faster on W7 for free So, what you need to do is go into control panel and hit system and security, after that go into the one called system. Go into adanced system settings, a new box should open up under the tab advanced. Click the settings button under performance. Go into advanced tab of the performance options. Hit the button that says, "change" under virtual memory and uncheck the box that says, "autmattically manage paging file size for all drives." After it's been unchecked, go hit the button that says, "custom size" and change it to about 7000-8000. Click set and your computer may ask to restart. Bad Pc upgrade with standalone graphics card? If I take a crappy w7 PC and get about a 50-70$ stand alone graphics card? I run MC at about 15 fps with a 32x32 TP with render distance on tiny and smooth lighting off. Also, on CoD WaW I run about 10 fps with minimum graphics. I have 3gb installed ram and 5 gb digital ram. Would a stand alone gpu help? o.o
Bing keeps opening ad links For example, i bing minecraft.net. I click on the official minecraft website and it proceeds to open a minecraft-related ad in another tab. This happens with every time i hit a result of the search, on every search and page that I tested. I am running w7 along with IE9 if that helps.
Desktop is failing to respond So I just got up today -at 11:30- and ate some oreos. I went straight to my bland non-custom dell computer and started it up. I tried to launch LaTale with the desktop icon and not from the OGPlanet launcher. My cursor made the, "loading" symbol for W7 and I assumed it was working. But then I noticed that it was taking a bit too long... and then I noticed it wouldn't let me click any icons. I can open the start menu but it plays the error noise if I try to open control panel, etc. Just now it started so that I couldn't even make any use of it. IE is on the bar on bottom (idk what it's called) and that's how I opened it. Norton is doing background scans ATM if that matters, but it says my comp is, &quo
Relevant Knowledge making me lag So, the other day i was playing maple and it was fine and all. My sister downloaded some stuff for surveys and now this comp is lagging terribly. If i play combat arms, the only kills possible are with grenades because i can barely move. It shows me walking forward and then i teleport back. I walk forward again and then im about a mile away fromwhere i want to be. Anyways, a Norton alert popped up because this file in a folder called RelevantKnowledge was taking up 88% of my CPU. The file was called Rlvknlg. Please show me how to delete it.....
