Back to good old Gms need help x.x

I wasn't quite sure where to ask this, but since my only char is a hero, i thought i'd ask here.
after a long break im considering coming back to maple, but i've always been putting it off because i was kinda lazy to catch up to game content, work, school and other commitments.
but now that i have some free time left these days, i thought i'd give it a try again.
And i was hoping fellow maplers could help me answer some questions that maybe i could find the answers to while im downloading the client xD
The last time i played was when kanna class was just out. and i remember always going on these runs with the massive golem boss. and some ship trading runs.
i was wondering what changed since that.
Here are some things im curious about: (somewhat in order of importance to me)
. How good are Heros atm? are they still good at bossing? are they still ___________ fill in ur opinions for me
. is the world "BROA" dead? alive? medicore? how does it fare compared to other worlds in terms of player base?
. are there any new classes thats out?
. Where to train a 16x Hero with kinda low funds and low dmg.? (just think of me as 0 funding 0 dmg newbie)
. what are the end game equips and what must you do to get them? are they still those fafnir(?) equips?
. any other things you rekon a new player should know.
Any type of info and comment would be much appreciated and if anyone in BROA could help me out, that would also be much appreciated.

@dlalsdn8551 Don't worry, the game's not that easy, they simply changed leveling to make it easier because they decided to focus on other aspects of the game. Because of the game's diversity, there's no need to make leveling so difficult anymore since there're so many more things to do.

@sillybats: i tried that firepower thing.... and i must say its quite ridiculous. wth nexon T.T why make the game TOO easy
but thanks for that, might just start one in Broa- another char perhaps since i found that my Guild is still quite active Thanks for the welcome and the info.

Actually there's a firepower event going on right now! Choose to burn your new warrior and gain 2 additional levels for every level. The effect stops upon hitting 100 so that should get you past the boring parts of Hero. Welcome back and good luck

I prefer Scania to be honest. I think its the most popular server and the prices are lower compared to other worlds ( Unless thats changed lol )
why not start from scratch at this new "khroa Broni" xD

so im guessing fafnirs are still expensive as hell T.T
How are they in terms of bossing then? are they still on top tier?

Heroes are still fun and can take on a boss or two.
Broa merged with Khaini giving it a new name: Khroa or Broni

Do daily bosses to earn reward points. Reward points are used to buy cubes, prot scrolls, fm shops etc...
