Hmm where to start?
I'm not sure where to even begin or how to feel about this class
i came back to maple about a month ago after a few year break, and since i was enjoying it again (more casual gaming now but w/e)
i wanted to get back on my hermit. I just had this real nostalgia when i found a set of ilbis in one of my chars.
I made this hermit (currently lvl 79 - i lvled twice just now) and i feel like something is a bit off.
now, i made this hermit back in the MS days where u had to grind KPQ for days just to get to 2nd job.
and i remember the sins of those days were these flashy, untouchable power houses hurling stars all over the map.
one thing i realised is that im drinking Pots like water. and these monsters seem to have 100%acc or something cause they never miss on me.
Is it just me? or have the NL class been changed into this? correct me if im wrong, but I'm sure "miss" was what we saw more than actual dmg numbers on us.
i find this class so fun and somewhat respectable like the old GMS hero class so i really want to continue this to see how far i get.
so tell me this, What kind of class are we now? cuz this definetly ain't what it was back then
and wtf i have triple throw at 3rd job 0_o

NL's are one of the classes that uses the most HP pots in the game at high lvls, I recommend 2. things:
1. Do the lionheart castle quest in el nath to unlock the boss ani, you can kill him multiple times to get boxes which give 100 reindeer milk/sunrise dew (untradable)
2. If you're planning to lvl your NL to high lvls or even maining than get some link mules like kaiser/cannonear for %hp +cards (great for the centire account)
For equips, your claw is fine until 140 when you can equip the lvl 140 set u get from dimension invasion or from people who treat the equips like trash tier.
Maybe later do gollux for money and accesories.
drinking pots is okay until ur 140 cause ur dodge skill is in 4th job.
update - im lvl 100 now and just job advanced to a NL.
already made a kanna with that burning (my avatar)
still a few things im confused about though
* is it normal for me to be drinking so much Pots?
* what kind of equips should i focus on first as i level up?
i currently have
Red Steer lvl 77 claw - Unique 3L 9% 6% luk 15%pdr (but its like 50 something atk)
4 sets of cilbis.
and rest are just items that i got from grinding scorpions and sahel 2 (lvl 80 eqps)
A lot has changed for this class or explorers in general. We aren't as strong as the other classes, but that doesn't mean we can't be strong it'll take a lot of funding. I'm level 123 and my range is 18k buffed which is horrible. I play the class because I like it and I feel the new classes aren't as fun.
I went from 20-140 in 6 hours of x2. Leveling these days is nothing compared to pre-bb lol
I suggest you to start fresh in a populated world. bera/windia/scania
this way you get TOTS free levels + free items every 10levels and u get a 1.5x 4 hr coupon (use during 2x events)
Right now theres a burning character meaning if you lvl once u gain 2 extra.
4th job has all skills @ 140, no longer 200.
Training guide- 1-25 golems in henny
25-50 gold beach ( 6 way path - google it)
50-70 drakes ( sleepy wood)
70-140 ( RNJ, Magenta(sand rats), MPE)
140-160( mp3 (singapore))
160-250( second drill hall (future henny))
dont worry about gear or missing if you follow that guide. ( i suggest u to buy a 2x card)
the elite monsters that spawn while ur training give u more than enough to lvl up. if your not 140 in 1 week, ur not doing something right(4 hrs a day).
