@piana: No. This is very very misleading. There are factors outside of funding that count towards DPS. This is what makes the difference between classes.

Further, when you compare classes, it is fair to assume the same amount of funding. Even with the same amount of funding, there will be difference in power between the classes.

Class tiers are not at all final, but are a guideline to how powerful a class is.

The following is basically what determines a most of a class:

1. The attack being used. Lines/second and %damage is what makes this.
2. The buffs of the class and how they increase the stats.
3. The damage multiplier of the weapon the class uses.

With #1 and #2 contributing the most to damage.

For simplicity's sake, let's focus on 1v1 DPS. Bishop vs Wild hunter, both post-black haven update. Let's assume both of them have infinite funding. Wild hunter would win, hands down, because the amount of %damage per second is simply alot higher.

If both classes had 2m~2m, this would still translate into Wild Hunter into doing more damage. This is where DPS charts come in.

Hell, if both of them capped damage, Wild hunter would still outdamage bishop, because Wild hunter hits more lines/second then Bishop does.

So because of the strength and speed of attacks of different classes, this will cause a divergence in damage even if every class had 2m~2m range.

I really, really haven't been asking about opinions on damage. I also don't need a golden quote.

I asked about the DPS / DPM list. If you don't even like it, why come in my thread complaining about it. I just want to know the list. Piss off if you don't even contribute anything useful at all.

No one can be bothered to make one, and now that we're getting a in game calculations on dps there's no point.

Not sure about a complete list but top 5 atm in no order is, Wh,Bm,Nw, Zero and Kaiser? After Reboot I still think Bm and Kaiser are up there but I'm not sure about the other 3 and definitely not Zero lol.
