Wow, it's really weird for me to see someone say that, i remember when i did my F/P mage and you had to kill monsters one by one up to lvl 70, when an I/L would hit up to 6 mobs since lvl 30...

Game sure has changed a lot, huh?

if you spent 30b on your I/L...does that mean I spent way more than that? x_x

it's usually unfair to compare Mage's Range to others because (for the most part) it works differently. the math/general formula is the same but the variables aren't. AM have Amp which doesn't show in the range along with our weapons having a low multiplier (1x...compared to 1.49x or 2.6x even).

I'm kind of bothered that with a 50k range on my paladin I can only sometimes hit cap with heavens hammer, but it only takes you guys like an a 20k range </3

That's really good for your level. 91% INT is quite a lot, try to get for a 200 M.ATK+ weapon now, then with time your range will be higher.

I hit max with 15k range on bosses with 0% boss dmg and 15% pdr.

199 atk EWand6 and 34% INT

Not really. 35% int, a 175 m.atk weapon and 4 pieces of the Empress set should net you a 22k range, which is good enough to hit the damage cap easily with Infinity.
With a 31k range you'll be hitting the damage cap on crits consistently. Not sure how much you'll need for noncrits though, since I never broke 33k range before selling my stuff.
F/P mages are a great choice, just don't give up on it. They're definitely worth playing <3.
