black crystal and magic attack on shoes with maker

ok, i'm just wondering if anybody has actually done this / can confirm if it works or not ...

so i used adv diamond and adv black crystal and adv power crystal on my alchupiz with a stimulator and it ended up +8att above normal with +5str

the adv black crystal must have acted as a +3att altering gem (which i know it acts on stuff like def/Mdef, jump, spd, attack, Mattack, etc...) while the dark crystal works on stats like str, dex, int, luk ...

my question is this: if you use an advanced black crystal (and say an advanced wisdom crystal) on any of the mage shoes that have base magic attack (neli, elemental, mystic) ... can that give you like 4+ mAtt clean on these things just like adv black crystal works on weapons if you use a stimulator?

i figure it would be quite pragmatic to start with the highest mAtt i can get since i'm planning to chaos a bunch of these for really high magic attack, and I thought I'd ask the mage community on basil if they've done this and check if it works before i go throwing loads of int/adv black crystal at making loads of shoes hoping for higher magic attack.

thanks a lot guys for your input and experience

ah ok, well thanks, i figured there might be a shot (not with sapphires but with the black crystal of course since you can't add sapphire/diamond to armors, just weapons)

well i guess i'll just hunt for shoes with potential on them and then chaos the ones with 3 lines ... probably the most logical thing now rather than maker with just + int/luk

thanks Dagget for having already tried black crystals on shoes.

Edit: @ above, na, i'm pretty sure adv black crystal acts as a chaos scroll for non-(str, dex, int, luk) stats. i've used it before on warrior gear and it has definitely acted on weapon attack, and on armor defense (when i used amethyst, power crystal, and black crystal to try and get +8spd +11str reverse warrior shoes) some ended up that way, others ended up with only +5 spd, but noticeably larger weapon defense.

what i think it'll do is have a 1 in 3 chance to do something to the magic attack. since the black crystal could act on the weapon defense, magic defense, or magic attack on the shoe.

and then if you don't use a stimulator, i think the crystal could act negatively or positively ... (stimulator makes it always positive but 10% chance to ruin everything and trash all the materials) *i'm not a maker expert, but i do feel i have a good grasp on most of it's intricacies*

so assuming you use stimulators, one out of three shoes will have above average magic attack? at least that's my untested hypothesis.

assuming that's the case, i'm not uber wealthy, so i'd probably stick to intermediate wisdom and intermediate black crystal for each of these and make like 9-10 of them hopefully giving me 2-4 sets with magic attack ranging from 3-4 on the shoe ... then chaos those until i end up with 1-2 positive results and then 90% potential and finish the best shoes with armor int 60%

so that kinda was the plan ... budget around 10 of each intermediate wisdom / black crystal, 10 shoe stimulators, 5-6 chaos scrolls, 1-2 advanced potential scrolls, and 2-3 armor int 60%. hopefully (at least statistically) this should yield a pair of 7+ M. Att, 10+ int, w/potential, mage shoes for well under 250m *yellonde prices* and also (hopefully) be able to resell the 2nd and 3rd place shoes to recoup some of the investment.

I would like to know this as well since I want to upgrade my shoes soon. It would also help if I wanted to chaos them.
