How does a botcatcher like the Snow witch work?

Hello,

How could the snow witch catch a botter? I don't understand, because when I attack her she will return me. Can't the botter just ignore her too?
thank you in advance

not on purpose...per se. They're just there to be a nuisance while GMs handle more crowded maps.

However, they are outdated, and underloved. Really, most of the bots out there should be able to combat this, making it pretty much useless

Well at 'crowded' (yeah right) maps, they are put there, so if the monster spawns, the botter will hit the monster and be auto-sent back to town, therefore making the botting useless. This means that if a person does bot in this map, they won't be able to for long before the monster spawns and sends them back.

However, this doesn't work in practice because of one simple thing; the maps which do have anti-bot monsters on it suck for training.
