Definitely worth it IMO. The trick is to open up the $55 membership with another person (splitting cost, since you can have two names per membership) that way you only pay $22.5 for a whole year, plus you both get the benefits. The savings you'll get is ridiculous, even if you only go once or twice a month.
At my local grocery stores such as Stop N' Shop and Big Y, the price for a loaf of potato bread is $3-5, while at Costco two loaves are $4.
Not to me. I live alone and I don't like cooking. My mom has a membership and the only things I've gotten from it have been toilet paper, paper towels, Starbucks iced coffees, soup, and mac&cheese.
Costco rewards pays you I think at the end of the year so it pretty much covers the membership so the more you shop more reward money they give you and I think my mom shops and it goes over the membership cost. And plus you can return anything to Costco and at anytime pretty much.. its awesome 8)
If you have a friend/roommate that you can shop with i think it's worth it. I have a member ship and a friend and I just buy the stuff we need and split the groceries/bill. The stuff at Costco I think is just enough for two people since it's all bulk.
If you would go shop there and buy a lot often, yeah. For the lowest type, it's 55$ here and you can get 2 sep cards out of them. If you don't need the other, you can always have the other card to another and split the price. :0
My family has one and it's worth it for them definitely. It depends on how much stuff you'll buy and and actually use though. If you don't use a lot buying in bulk is not for you.

If the money you save while shopping there is more than the price of the membership, then it's worth

OT: I love Costco. Their pizza, chicken bake and smoothie are amazing.
As for shopping there, they have 3 month warranty on electronics and they sell in bulk.[/quote]
