it's simple: we kill the damsel. make the good guy suffer humiliation, defeat, and soon, overpowering what's left of his sorry self.
or
it's complicated: make a perfect clone of the damsel, kill her in front of the hero, make the hero go all rage mode only to stomp on what's left of him, then turn what's left of the real damsel into a slave. we all know what slave we talkin bout here so i won't list it here. o, and don't forget to poison the hero and make him suffer before death. maybe chop off a few limbs for good measure.
