OT I havnt watched that in years since it focuses on whats popular and ignores all other forms of music by giving some of the "winners" their awards back stage or in a pre ceremony event which isnt televised

Do they always give awards out to things released two years beforehand?

Well.. The stunt that Kanye pulled when Beck received his award lol. Also, when he went nuts during his interview at the Grammy after party makes me wonder if he's secretly worshiping Beyonce or something >.<

It was kind of expected though that Sam Smith would get almost all major awards. Was hoping Ed Sheeran to win at least one..
