what is my position and where do I go from here?

Ill try my best to keep this short. So just today I asked a girl out, and I got rejected because she was stressing from school. She said she really likes me, but school is preventing us from being together.
So like, what position does that leave me in? Am I friendzoned or what? And what am I suppose to do from here? Or is her excuse a sorry excuse to not date me? I'm really lost at what to do.

She's not interested in you bro, if she really liked you she wouldn't let school get in the way. She's just making an excuse to not hurt your feelings. Move on.

It's an excuse so you wont feel bad. Trust me, find someone else.
If she really did like you, she'd go out of her way to make time and room for you.

Look through her hair
any signs of grey hair means she's actually stressing
if there isnt any grey hair shes fooling you
like a truck full of donkeys.

I used that excuse before. I don't think she likes you that much Are you in high school or university? If university, there's a chance she's actually busy with school (but if she really liked you that wouldn't stop her from dating you. You can always study together and hang out on Friday nights). If high school, you should find another girl.

Well either she didn't want to hurt your feeling and did it in a wrong way by lying and saying she liked you or school really is bothering her. You should ask her why school is getting in the middle and offer her any help.

It's her excuse. Seen a goody two shoes go out of lengths to be with the guy she likes, secret relationship from parents, etc.
