150 Jap staff vs. Fafnir
Since no one in Bera been selling Fafnir mage weapons but a very small few...Would it be better to get a jap staff in replacement?
I have good/decent magic atk shield plus i could a magic atk or maybe some type of damage neb on the shield to make for any magic atk difference.
I have set 3 of the mage root abyss and if i want i can use up to set 4 from alien fragments with my 2 pendant slots for 30% boss.
Any suggestions cause i would kinda like a fafnir but double miracle time tomorrow so...

I have Ele staff 7 and 8 haha
Only wanted Fafnir for the set but like i said there others ways to getting same bonus/stats
I have aliens fragments anyway...im not trying to be the best but i still want to be good lol
you should keep your ele 7. and thanks again for showing me your shield yesterday I'm in the process of making on as we speak
edit if you don't like bonus wait for Fafnir since it has a higher base damage than japanese
i believe 10%/5% to correspond elements. I know there were glitch back and maybe been address now but its not major difference in damage. A lot times I have to go neutral in terms of elements against bosses anyways due to resistances and some immunity so kinda doesn't help to have those bonuses anymore.
An elemental staff is a good option if u are any mage class other than a bishop. If u can't afford that, a loveless staff is dandy.
But doesn't elemental staves still have elemental damage?
I had plenty Ele staffs but I just wanted something different for once

Why not just use an elemental staff?
i can have the same set with Alien fragments and then % boss. So to me there a lot different ways to do it.
If anything I could sell it as a perfect scrolled weapon or trade.
Edit: There seems to be none left in Bera to buy unless people are just holding out.

If you want to get the RA set, then go Fafnir. If you don't plan on it, Japanese is fine.
i can scroll on one acc...but yea that's the only down side is that its takes psok just to move around freely.
But is it pre-scrolled clean
prepare scrolls and wait for fafnir
Unless your buying it pre-scrolled or plan on using the same account for all scrolling I would stay away from Jap weapons. Only because if you want to take advantage of the event for scrolling you'd have to continuously psok or use the same account.
