How worth is 2 percent extra exp?
So I'm currently using the old Crusader Zeal Ring that gives 2% bonus exp. Is there actually any point in wearing that anymore at 201? Or should I just toss it out for a Sylph ring. Currently using Sup/Rein/6% dex tempest ring/Zeal.

since item % is additive and not multiplicative it's not worthwhile during 2x and stuffers. during 2x events ur 2% more doesnt become 4%. so normally 1.02x exp becomes 2.02x during 2x.
I mean, if you really want more %exp, you could level your merc to 210 to level the link skill to 3.
People say 2% is nothing. I kind of agree, but imagine getting 22% extra exp per level due to your level 3 link and the 2%.
I think it's pretty worthwhile level 210+, especially if you're someone who wants to level higher. 2% exp takes several hours from what my friends are telling me and it's very much well worth it.
Otherwise, I'd say to just not use the 2% exp ring when you're doing other things. However, DO NOT DROP THAT 2% EXP RING IF YOU DECIDE TO REPLACE IT. You'll eternally regret your decision.
Personally, I'd rather wear a sylph ring rather than a 6% dex tempest ring.
It depends how much time you'll save using another ring.
If you already OHKO mobs then keep it. If you're bossing for exp (who knows), check your boss time with the ring and without it and see if 2% exp is worth the extra time it takes
it really depends, if you OHKO the mobs then crusader is better, if you dont OHKO, then sylph is better since faster killing=faster exp.
2 percent isn't a lot of exp, but with the amount of exp required to level after lvl 200 it might be worth it depending on how high you want to get your character. If you are happy with your damage then keep the zeal ring, otherwise trade it out for the slyph ring
