Best Training/Bossing Class/CashCow

HI!

I just came back to maple a few weeks ago and I made a NL; I'm around level 170 now and I'm realizing equips are way too expensive.

I really like NLs but I'm looking for a class that's not so expensive right now that I can boss and grind/party easily with. I need a class I can use to start funding myself efficiently.
I just don't feel like my NL is efficient right now as much as I love it.

What do you guys think?

So I guess what I'm looking for in somewhat contradictory in itself; something OP and cheap.
Haha, thanks.

You're not going to fund yourself from bossing. It's basically impossible. The only classes that have any advantage whatsoever in terms of "making mesos" are Bishops/Kannas who are desired for support and HS/Kishin service.
There must be something I'm doing wrong then. My DA is 112, 80k HP, and I can't stay at full hp like everyone else I see. My Drk, sure, but not my DA. I don't get it.
Probably not using Nether Shield then.

DAs have a heal X% per hit drain skill. As long as you have 2 pairs of shields active, you'll never lose HP faster than you heal it back.
Forgive me because I'm still new to DA, but I don't find that my hp dramatically decreases unless I forget to use overload release. Other than that my hp isn't exactly full, but it's at a good percentage.
Don't be too hard on yourself, lol. It's a common misconception when you see OMG high hp especially when you reach 200-500k which is significantly higher than most classes. People mistake that for not dying all the time. You can still die, it's just a lot hard to die on regular mobs but when it comes to bossing, it's just a little different.

That's true. I guess you could go with dark knight then. Final pact is Rly good for survivability
I would suggest either demon avenger or dark knight. Not only bc I'm biased, but also these two classes have drain, which saves a lot of pots even during bossing. Demon avengers never really need to use pots also because they don't use mp.
For classes that do %HP to DA, it's a little more difficult personally. With cap HP, if you get hit with a 50% hp infliction you lose about 250k and power elixirs only heal you up to 99,999. Another hit instantly would kill you whereas in other classes most pots heal you completely. Another thing is when you die, you have to use Execution to charge up again, this includes when you dodge too long. Some people have great control and don't need to however. Since the skills use HP as well you would have to constantly be hitting other wise potion locked bosses can be annoying.

NLs are great, if you like them, for your money. It's a lot better than wandering aimlessly in cheaper classes you don't like.
