Xenon, most definitely. Especially with event equips, since they give nice +all stat and don't cost any mesos.

DBs has one of the best potential in the game, but without the funding, it'll be useless. DBs funding is also the most expensive as well.
Xenons are by far one of the more easier classes to fund though, in pale comparison to DBs.

With a couple tyrants, you can take a xenon a long way.
