Nexon needs "Breathing room"

Really Nexon? Because it takes DAYS out of a MONTH, it is too much work for them to schedule into their budgets. Therefore they have decided to take a 2-3 month break from releasing large content, to give themselves "Breathing room"
Now don't get me wrong, I have been really loving how great Nexon has been in trying to keep up/ Catch up to KMS. However, this made me a bit.... Less happy is a good way to put it.
Basically they will be taking a 2-3 month break because it is too much work for them. Sounds like the Old Nexon everyone seems to hate. It might just be me overreacting, but how do you guys feel?

This is actually one of the best things that has happened to maple.
There are countless glitches. COUNTLESS glitches, and many have formed in the months since big bang.
Everything past Aran (nexon did a decent job on them)
Was rushed, glitch-filled, planned badly, and altogether crapppppppppppppppppppppy.
(nothing against the people who like to play the new classes though)
I have been waiting for a LONG, LONG, time for nexon to stop releasing new !@#$, and actually improve their servers, fix the glitches, etc.
Not to mention their failure to patch popular hacks and glitches because it earns them money (pink scroll glitch so they could make more off of pams song, D/C hack so people would buy mushys, etc.)
Of the upcoming updates, from what they seem like seem great, and well planned out.
So I am ALL FOR THIS, and I wish this could have happened BEFORE evans were released.
Seems like you have no idea what they're talking about because you don't work at Nexon. You have no clue how hard or easy it may be to do their job, so why don't you quit assuming; it just makes an ass out of yourself.
I'm not saying their job is extremely hard, I'm just saying I don't know, and neither do you.

why couldn't nexon have just released LHC right after big bang... -.- they don't have to go in KMS order....
that's what every1's been waiting for since after day 2 of BB once every1 130+ realized how slow leveling was...
i TRY to keep myself occupied with wild hunters, try with mechanics all with the hope of knowing LHC is just that much closer, and now i found out that i have to wait another 3 MONTHS to be able to level my drk?...
for all i care, nexon could have just released big bang, released LHC, and then take a 10 year break....

lol u need to read the paragraph more clearly. There not taking a break for 2-3 months their working on a big patch.
If this downtime helps fix problems with the game, then I am all for it! I have had a support ticket in since 9/14. Just got a message they are STILL working on it.
Not to mention, I don't like everything in the Chaos update anyway.
you guys realize there is already stuff thats inside like mardi gras and new years and whatnot?
So you guys can stop complaining about a server maintenance every day.

... Anyway, I'm a programmer. Since this is a business, implementing something that is cheap, in really good quality and fast is non-existent. You can strive for perfection and have all three, but you won't reap the benefits... new technologies will always come up and yours is already behind.

Nah, they're just copying + pasting. For example: Look at when you finish PQs, it's still in Korean. Took them 4 months to copy + paste BB.
if you read the whole thing, you would of read that the content is allready set into the game, so they really just saved us time from patching and maints..
I'm fine with this. Finally some time to calm down and focus on my new characters instead of constantly rushing to train the latest one for the event equips.

...This makes absolutely no sense. Don't you see that those three factors support one another? That's like saying if you want blue and red on your palette, you can't have yellow.
By the way, the expression is "Don't bite the hand that feeds you."
Until LHC is released there is really no reason for them to be taking a break.
@ArthurSam: server checks don't take as long as patches and I don't have to download a new version when they're done.

Adding new cs items doesn't require a server check. They can just put cs into maintenance like they have done before
Wow, Golden Temple is coming back. Hopefully they won't change the exp in there (which i think they will).

I don't get why you are so upset, we still get content. It just is put in beforehand, like the events we have now. Plus, we just got Mech... I personally don't want updates to take up my time for training and other stuff.

Lol, complaining about this? Umm people who think that taking a 3month break from releasing LARGE content have very short attention spans if they get bored from these LARGE things so quickly. I mean give people time to get into the stuff, not to mention they will still have events and stuff.
3 large patches in 2 months is alot to handle and take in, i haven't even broken in to the godliness of my bm, let alone training my bm, and yes I unlike many other people, plan on getting them past 120, so i require time, this break is well needed for everyone.
Wouldn't really mind it if they'd stop releasing new classes every few months, maybe then they would have more time...
As far as I am concerned, the mid to upper tier players are being messed over again. Can we get LHC to keep us occupied until chaos? Screw resistance, I just want a decent levelling spot. Take away 2x, take away family buff, and delay the one and only thing 4th jobbers have been looking forward to. Way to cop out now. I mean , its just 1 freaking area. No new classes, just UA, a few weapons, and some mobs that actually give good exp. Is that too much to ask?

This is much better. It's better to take time and release less-glitchy contents than to rush things and release malfunctioning contents that result in more down time (unscheduled server maintenance).
FINALLY! They decide to take their time! They've been rushing out content so fast I can't keep up with it all.
Newsflash guys, they said no '"new content". They're still going to have events and such for us to taste. If you need constant amusement and patches, you need to go somewhere else or make your own game. It's not as easy as you guys think.

im actually happy about this. I'm hoping their patch for Von Leon and UA's comes out as desired, and bug free. I'm hoping it goes without a hitch, much like our patch for mechs.
It's actually following the same time-line that KMS did.
They're releasing it in the correct time gaps, but correct me if i'm wrong
