Roserade Ev training

So I have two modest 5-IV Roserades. One is max HP and sp.att. The other is not trained yet.

I was thinking going sp.att and sp.def just to take its best stats and go crazy with them.

Moves are sludge bomb, leaf storm, sleep powder and rest.

So let me know your thoughts on the EVs. Another two things to consider is to change to timid nature and swap rest with extrasensory (willing to do if it's much better that way). Thanks
DrHye: depends what you want your Roserade to be. if you want it to be offensive, you go all Sp.A and Speed. you'd be surprised how much you fail to outrun if you don't go 252 Speed. and max Sp.A cause you want to do dmg. if you want your Roserade to be mainly support or status, you probably just go all bulk (HP and Sp.D). if you wanted something faster, Froslass would be a better choice instead. Roserade generally won't switch into an attack considering how frail it is
I'll have a physical wall when I need it, and Roserade has pretty good sp.def. I'll take the advice on speed though, but I'll keep the modest nature. Thanks for all the help

@Doutei Is it even outspeeding that many more pokemon when comparing 0 EVs to 252 EVs in speed? I get that it's a big difference, but if there's not that many pokemon that I'm actually suddenly outspeeding, it seems a bit wasteful, whereas sp.def could help it become a safer switch-in

@GoXDS So should I narrow it down to HP vs speed? I'm very uncertain at the moment.

The plan is for Roserade to be offensive, so sp.atk is definitely one of the stats I want to max. I don't think I noticed a big issue of slowness on Pokemon Online (I used HP/sp.atk), but it's a bit more difficult to change once I EV train in-game.

@Doutei actually if you want a Pokemon to be specially or physically bulky, you buff the lower stat first between HP or the defensive stat, generally. it'll provide more overall bulk in specific side. for example, against Shield Stance Aegislash which has 60 Base HP or 150 Base Def. say we maxed out HP and no Def, it'd take 77.16 - 91.35% from LO EQ from Jolly Flygon. if we did 252 Def and 0 HP instead, 81.6 - 96.55%.

@DrHye:
don't bother with spDef if you go modest/timid since spatk+speed are the better choices.
especially when you want to use rest the next turn without being ko'd before that.
HP is a bad choice since of all the 6 stats, Spatk SPdef Speed are it's top outputs.

leave spdef/hp choices to calm defensive type.
But it's best to simply test out whether hp/spdef EVs are better than Speed EVs in actual battles.
might want to switch out rest if you don't plan on switching it out immediately [assuming natural cure ability] after using it.
High Chances are, it will get knocked out within all turns of it sleeping.

Timid nature really depends on your move set.
Like planning to set up the battle starting with sleep powder.
Seeing that not many fire/ice pokemon have a higher speed stat than it.
so it's possible.
I did luck out on the second one - it has natural cure (so I don't have to buy the ability capsule at the masion). So I do plan on switching out after rest. The team I'm planning has several pokemon that can safely switch in.
I would probably use sleep powder when predicting a switch-in, or if I'm confident that I can outspeed whoever.

So I'm leaning toward keeping it modest. Would HP or sp.def be the better investment? If it helps, I plan on using Roserade in UU battles when more people are ready to play tiers. I did HP on my first roserade, but its base HP is 60, so I'm not sure if I should switch to boosting its better stats
