Popular/Well known Basil Artists?
Back when I used to post art here regularly, people like Desiara, PirateJing, GentleRain, GenuineLaughter and others (I've missed out quite a few names) had the screen section buzzing with activity. Then there was the amazingly skilled Lanique and her realistic maple art, and lilzara with her epic, epic compositions. I guess the basil screen section is different now, and it seems to me that people pay much less attention to art posted here.
Nevertheles, I'd love to know who the prominent/popular basilmarket artists are these days. There are a few old basilmarket lurkers, like myself, who'd love to know this too. Any recommendations/links would be greatly appreciated

I've been drawing a lot. I'm in the animation program in the university, I have an artblog that I update often, and I'm working on several different fanart/personal projects for the fun of it. I have a part-time job as a custodial in the art college, so between that and class and work, I've been busy xux

I think alot of gr8 artists were mentioned earlier already so
somewhat recently I liked @Azwelf's art! gr8 style
there's alot of gd artists that dont post screens but just post drawings now and then in the art section&draw above
Ugh, lilzara was a huge inspiration for me. I watched her livestream once and she made drawing look so effortless.

Yeah, I think you're probably right there. That and I think basilmarket people are very....opinionated and critical. Maybe they also felt like it wasn't worth putting in the effort and getting flamed so hard. I know that was the case with at least a couple of artists that no longer post.
I mean, it's mostly because the good artists either quit maple or don't really find maple worth it to draw about.
