What is antisocial?

Is antisocial only: not wanting the company of others. Or is it this and/or not having the company of others?

Essentially, is it only limited to not wanting socialization or and/or not having/having little of socialization?

The term is used loosely now-a-days, it depends how the person uses it, but the above is correct in context.

It's both, they either don't want to socialize with others or they can't socialize with others

but i thought being unable to socialize means you're socially retarded.
