Gearing my aran o.o
Hey guys,
I just have a few questions with regards to gearing my Aran. Now, i know this has probably been asked multiple times but should i be after %str top/bottom (how much %str should i be aiming for) or an empress set? Also how much weapon attack should my loveless/partisan/board/arcglaive have?

Thanks for the input guys, ill likely not go empress because i wont cube all of it.
It'd be good to know your fundings.
If you can afford the Empress set (with good pot/attack) then get it, the 30% boss damage is really useful and helps you reach cap easier, the hp/defense you get from it are also pretty good. If you don't exactly have the fundings to get a good empress set then go for regular %STR gears.
You have to decide though, if you're going to MAIN your Aran for a long time and always plan to go back to it then you should get the Emp set but if your only going to play your Aran for a bit then quit it later then don't buy/get any untradeables on it for obvious reasons, I have to spend buy a few PSoKs to sell my Emp gear and that will make me lose a lot, I've also got like 20%STR that's permanently stuck on my Aran due to Temp shoulder/ring.

i personally believe its a much better route to go top bottom because upgrading will be much easier. Not all of us have the funds to self cube all of our equips. Empress gear is a great way to dig yourself in a hole, and considering you can't even get the full set bonus without getting the pricey empress warrior cape. A good decent percent str you should aim for is 50, and once you get there aim for 80, then 100 etc. You should aim for a 130 atk plus polearm and then look to make an end game p.a later when you get more fundings and experience.
