Yep, he said it all. You can try with the Cash Item trade option by first trading it with some other character on another account and then trading it back to your Xenon. This is only if it's tradeable, though--the majority of the NX given from events are untradeable.

There is no current way to trade the NX solely within the account because your Cannoneer and Xenon don't share the same Cash Shop inventories.
