How to cheer a dog up
So I had two dogs and they were together for around 6-7 years and last night one of them passed away. My other dog is kinda moping around the house and looks pretty sad. I'm wondering if you guys know anyway to cheer her up or help her through the situation? I've read online and people say that you have to give her attention but then other people say that you have to leave her be and let her grieve first.
Any advice?

My parents said that they don't really want to get another dog until I go to college, which will be in like two years. And by then my other dog will probably have passed away also considering she's like 10.
