The long wait has been over! We also get Spell Booster along with a renewed Angel Ray! Angel Ray is now more a piercing skill (similar to Piercing Arrow for Crossbowmen except we don't need to charge it). Spell Booster + Angel Ray is a great combination.
After thinking about it, I think it means "multi-hit," as in, several smaller damage numbers instead of one big damage number. But I didn't want to seem lame and respond to my own post. Haha.
It hits twice now, 450%*2. I seemed to have confused it with another skill, but thinking back most of the Mage skills were single target-hit. Sorry about that.
What does "multi-targeting" mean?
Target multiple monsters; if you weren't being sarcastic.
where is the mp eater fix?
I think that's Reorganization, Chaos.

Spadow is missing some details, example is range of ar changes to 400 (roughly how far an arrow go for archers)
And ar only hits 5 not 6 monsters
More details at s0uthperry

Anyway, the best part is we wont have bandwagoners cause bishops arnt overpowered, just balanced
Ahh, I hate it when new stuff come out in KMS first, gotta wait so long til it finally reaches GMS D:
I agree AR looks awesome!
That's cause KMS is the 1st Maplestory version to come out. Also GMS is lazy with making content, they copy KMS 98%.

GMS can restructure the job themselves but they rather let KMS do it.
angel ray! aah so happy mine is maxed lol
Yeah, same here! Got it maxed before Big Bang came out!

OT: Overall, I'm actually happy with the changes. There's hope again to play my Bishop, especially with the AR change and added spell booster.
So does this mean we get SP resets?
I'd love to use that 15 SP wasted on Summon Dragon elsewhere.
Oh and, I hope they also remove the prerequisite Summon Dragon from Bahamut then.
With Jump, they give out free SP resets. Also, if a skill is removed, the used SP is returned.

@SpikesCafe : Just like Explosion and the other mage skills, Multi-Targeting means it hits right when the skill is used. Before, the arrow would have to come in contact with the monster before it is hit.

Summon Dragon removed: Eh... I only used it about... 5 times as a priest?

Magic Booster: Well, it's about time. I can understand not buffing the %s of our skills if it means attacking faster

Holy Focus: Mmmmm... 95% mastery... the +50% crit rate never really made sense to me before this patch

Holy Magic Shell: That better not be affected by zombify. Otherwise it means potentially 30 seconds of invincibility for the party. Should be useful at Van Leon and Cygnus.

Arcane Aim buff: Excellent. We reach the 40% damage bonus faster.

Big Bang: Eh... I don't really mind since I rarely use that skill. BTW, did they change the range or charge time of the skill?

Infinity: Glad to see it's back to full power. Not sure how it's like to have stance.

Advanced Bless: Hmm... 25% less MP consumption? Might help out at bosses with pot cooldowns, but eh...

Angel Ray: Ohh... *drools*

I must say, I think they did a pretty good job with the mage reconstruction overall, though it looks like I'll be shelling out NX for the auto-buff pets when they come out. The only major issues I have is that I think HS having the full 150% exp effect when solo training is broken and discourages party training, and something needs to be done about the ultimates. Maybe give them a secondary effect when you put skill points into them, like making genesis give a +30% to crit damage as a passive effect, something so as to justify the room they take up in our skill books.

@above: Overpowered? I'd call it helping to even the playing field in damage and training speed with other classes. By no means will we suddenly outdamage/ks mechanics to oblivion with this patch alone. We are more effective at doubling as secondary attackers if you have the funds as well as solo training, but our party buffs have been significantly improved. Mmmm... stackable advanced bless, 10 minute res, holy magic shield.
When's the patch for GMS?
I'm guessing about 6-7 months after Chaos.
nooo summon dragon
They removed it to make room for Spell Booster. Summon Dragon also used a Summoning Rock, and only attacked 1 mob. It wasn't that good.
