[Reboot] Old player has a lot of questions
Hi, would love some help on these questions:
I'm currently about 125 on Reboot and I'm not sure what to do in terms of equipment/general game stuff
For the enhancement stars, I see there are up to 12 and you pay a certain amount each time. What happens if it fails?
What are spell traces for?
How do you use the "equipment transfer" function?
For end game equipment, what are the best/easy to obtain equipment for end-game Mage/Warrior? What bosses, monsters, or PQ do I defeat to get them?
What item should I potential first? I have like 10 cubes from the giftboxes/hot time and should I try to get a legendary weapon or shoes, etc first?

For Equipment, well that's hard to say for the most part. Reboot is all about working your way up so there's no jumping straight into endgame equips, meaning you're gonna eat through good equipment sets. But to start, get to 140+ and try to farm a full Pensalir/Utgard set or a Von Leon set. That will be your basic setup before you head into the big endgame area. As for accessories, do your daily Horntail(Earrings and Ring), Zakum(Face and Eye Acc), and Easy Magnus(Shoulder and Badge) for the basic accessory set. Ask you friends and buddies where to go from there.
Stars are dictated by the item level. It's only 5 star till level 100 i think, 130+ or 140+ is where you can go to 15, but you will only want 10 as the final 5 are FAR too pricey for what it's worth. Your 140 Pensalir/Von Leon Set will both go to 10 star just fine. It will tell you what happens if you fail stars. 1-6 Nothing happens, 7+ Failing will drop star count by one, 11+ will drop star or have a very small(like 1-3%) chance that the item will blow up. If it blows up it will leave an Equipment Trace, which is like a ghost of your weapon you blew up, and you can attach it to another weapon and you'll get your stats back. It's nothing to worry about for now, just get to 10 star and don't bother with anything past that.
Equipment transfer just transfers Potentials up to Epic, stats, and stars over to an item within 10 levels above or below. Anything Unique or Legendary will drop down to Epic when you transfer. Equipment must have stars on it to transfer. A very simple and fantastic system.
Final Endgame equipment in Reboot is crazy hard to get as it's a long haul till you're ready. But the endgame sets include Reinforced/Superior Gollux accessories(Hard/Hell Gollux), Tyrant equipment(Hard Magnus), Sweet Water equipment(Commerci Trades), and the Root Abyss set(Chaos Root Abyss only). Don't bother with anything right now besides Sweet Water since Commerci is lvl 150 and not hard to complete, but the drops for it are quite rare.
Cube your Primary and Secondary weapons to Unique/Legendary first, then just work on your accessories. Weapons make up most of your bossing damage so it's best you get them ready asap. You can buy cubes and various equipment items such as Potential Stamps at the Henesies Potion Shop or in the Cash Shop(for mesos, not NX). Reboot is all about farming Mesos and blowing them all off on Cubes lol. Just farm until your heart can't take anymore lol.
