[*] Chaos is a patch that will come on June 29th 2011 for gMS. The patch includes a new world, which is rumored to be called "Nova". In every new world, you will be able to receive a 18 stated hat at level 70. With Chaos, there is rumored to have skill books (for free) for jobs such as: Evan, Aran, and Dualbladers. Upon making my return to Maple, I've decided to wait until a new world comes out.
[b]Pioneer is a guild that will be made at the very beginning of the Chaos patch.[/b] The guild will be made in the new world, and our members will be the "pioneers" of the new world. We will be the ones to take the first steps onto a new land! The thing that sets our guild apart from others is that we are not at all about trying to boss. The guild is made just for our members to be able to ask questions, make friends, train together, and have a small market of members to sell items to; only hopefully bossing when our members are ready.

Hello, I am Kevin. My main is Aider and I have been a Mapler for over 4 years. I achieved level 200 back in January of 2009, I believe. I have quit MapleStory for quite some time now; however, in Chaos, I am making my return to MapleStory. I have made many contributions to Basil, such as guides, suggestions, etc. I will be the master of Pioneer, and I am very excited to meet all of you.

I also would like if my members were in the PST or EST time zones, which this is where most of the members will be under. Try to show a good trait in yourself (honesty, kindness, talkativeness, etc.) in your application under "Why should we accept you?". Also, I am a grammar nazi. I don't expect perfect grammar; however, I do expect that you type neatly but at least in a coherent fashion. [*] Sometimes, I do miss some applications due to the amount that is posted in the thread. I do frequently review the applications to see if there are any I missed. If your application was rejected (or received no reply), you can reapply for Pioneer 7 days later.
[b]How do I become a Jr. Master?[/b]
[*] I am not making anyone Jr. Master (besides my close friend who will co-own the guild) until a good amount of time later. Do not expect to become Jr. Master unless you contribute well to the guild, prove your loyalty, and gain my trust. However, once you do gain my trust and prove your loyalty to the guild, you will be ranked onto Jr. Master without notice. [b]If you ask for the Jr.Master position, whatsoever, you will be expelled on the spot without warning.[/b]
[b]Why do I have to apply for the guild?[/b]
[*] I never actually intended on making people apply for Pioneer. However, there was many people who wanted to join, though I am not able to accept all of them. Making people do applications helps me narrow down the best applicants that I feel would make Pioneer stay on tip-top shape.
[b]Do you want to alliance with my guild?[/b]
[*] As of now, I have no plans for alliance. I am already limiting my guild to a certain amount of people at the beginning, and I would like to keep it at a minimum for the first or so week. I do plan to alliance about 3 weeks into the server, as that is when I have an idea of what guilds are loyal, alive, and do not cause drama.

In Maple, I am an active and serious player. I like to take the point of view of my character when I'm playing and actually play as if I lived in that world (it's just more interesting to me, like traveling to another space). Being a pure beta player and having lived through all these years observing the changes in Scania, I've grown tired of the "new mapler": an individual who's constantly lusting after damage and level. Although I only reached the beginning of 4th job after years, I found having my own ship as a corsair (my goal for years) was much more disappointing that I anticipated. I was rushed by my other higher level friends so we could maple together, and yet still now, I feel like they've changed into "zombie" maplers fueled by their lust for ruthless power (maybe not to that extent but you know what I mean). Therefore, I feel like re-starting again my maple life, abandon what's been lost, knowing I had a good time, and look forward to new opportunities. Starting anew will bring back some good old maple memories, and working my way through with a good team of new friends will make me re-live the awesome experience I once shared with many people. I recognize being a level-hungry zombie is necessary in some stages of life (maple or real life), especially at the beginning, but keeping a conscious and reasonable mind is also important. I have prepared everything for this change (sold my items, prepared MTS transfers, saved Nx) and am ready to just be unleashed into this fresh territory. Details/Talents/Abilities (Why makes you stand out?): The biggest quirk about me would have to be my humor. I've been told by many online and real life friends, along with family members and teachers that I am very funny and easy to get along with. If I were to be accepted into the guild, I would try my hardest to keep the atmosphere a positive and fun place. I don't play for damage, I play for the joy of the game so if I were to host some sort of group event (ie. Zakum, HT, CWKPQ, PQs) I would accept anyone, regardless of their damage or range.
Since I have been playing this game since late 06, I feel that I am quite knowledgeable and educated on the topic of 'MapleStory'. I will help anyone who needs it, and I would be one of the first to go assist someone when they need it. I wouldn't hesitate to help contribute to guild funds. I'm generally an active person, so there is no issue with me never logging on. I have never once scammed or hacked, and I would never even think of doing so. Whenever someone is incorrect in a trade, I always let them know so they don't get ripped off.
Since no one is perfect, I of course have my downfalls. For one, I'm sarcastic. I tend to use sarcasm A LOT. Seeing as this is a computer game, it would be hard to tell when someone is being sarcastic or not. I will try my hardest to make sure that everyone in the guild knows when I'm being sarcastic, and just try to cut back on my sarcasm in general. Another flaw is that I am impatient. I tend to try and get things quickly when I want to and I forget that other people may be doing the same thing at their own pace. I am slow at certain things, so I know how it feels to have someone pressure you into hurrying up, and I will try my ABSOLUTE hardest to avoid doing so. Another bad habit is I chew my nails, but I guess that doesn't really affect you, does it?
All-in-all, I feel that I would be a good addition to your guild because of my personality. I think that my (possible) fellow guildmates will not regret having me in the guild. Thank you for taking the time to read my application, and I will respect your decision regardless of the turn out. I hope to see you all in Nova.

I know many tips and tricks of Maple, and love having company and friendship while on my journey. I am fluent when speaking (typing). I respect everybody regardless of power, level, or knowledge of the game. I'd love to give helping hands and tips to new players. I'm also a pretty aggressive trainer . I simply cannot wait for Nova to come, I have some decent experience with starting in new servers. I've been to quite a few, ever since Mardia came out. Those were Pre-BB of course, but I've also been to Zenith and Arcania with 3rd jobbers in both of them. The main reason for me quitting these worlds was mainly because my friends quit, and I don't like playing without having friends along the way. I have good qualities and a good sense of what's going on, and have never used any illegal programs or took advantages of any exploits intentionally for my own good. The members that have been accepted into Pioneer look very dedicated (I know a few of them, as well ^.^), and they look like they will be perfect companions to accompany any Mapler on their journey. I would very much like to be a part of Pioneer.

Maple story itcg maple story trading card game the packs you bought from stores would give codes for items,pets, etc. The 3rd/4th booster gave strige swords,pants,cape and you can upgrade them in nlc. They stopped making them so they can be bought but for a even more money especially the 1st booster packs cause it has codes for items needed for storm caster,Etc.

I plan on allowing about 40 or 50 people join from applications. After about 50 people are accepted, I am completely closing off applications and invitation. The only way people are able to join afterwards is by recommendation. That person will need a member or two members of the guild to recommend them to me or a Jr.Master to allow them in.

But even so we can still support the guild without mess bag after the beginner island if you sell all the pots that you got (I don't use any pots I get in intro) you get around 25-50k and with this much supporters we can get 100k to make the guild, 500k to make a emblem, 1 mil to expand, etc and so on :]

A waiting list still means that you will be part of the guild, just at a later time. When the guild will first be made, it will be extended right away to 25 or 30 slots to fit all the "Accepted List". The guild will stay at 30 slots so that the current members are not overwhelmed with such a drastic/dramatic big guild so soon. The guild will stay small at first to allow members to bond together as a small, closed guild. However, over time, the guild will expand slowly and the members from the "Waiting List" will be allowed to join. The waiting list will only be on wait for about 1 week or 1 week and a half. Also, if someone from the "30" decides not to join the guild or join the world, someone from the waiting list will be able to take that spot.

I am well-versed in HTML and CSS. The backend would use PHP. The only thing I couldn't do would be to design the website - you'd need someone who can actually use photoshop (not me!) and who has a good sense of how a layout works.
That said, I'd recommend you first look at different content management systems, as there are nice, fully featured designs out there that have already done the hard work.
Im good at html, except I dont think I have enough time lol. Itll be hard enough just getting on maple 1 a week -_-
