Could you explain the 3D a little more? I imagine something like looking into an open box (or a diorama)
You can still tell that the objects are flat but it's more like they are layered on the screen with some objects closer and some further away.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pAbisOKNVyY Use this video as a point of reference. Change the 3D options to parallel and no glasses, then cross your eyes until you see an image in the middle and can focus on it and make it looks clear. That's basically how the 3DS screen looks.

There will definitely be less regular DS game coming out but they won't stop completely.

The 3D doesn't just refer to the game, it refers to the screen. You basically see two slightly differently images at an angle from the one screen which go into your eyes, replicating a 3D effect as if you are literally looking at the object in your screen, as opposed to just a flat image.

Mercenaries 3D is just a collection of the mode you unlock at the end of Resident Evil 4 and 5. The new Resident Evil game is called Resident Evil: Revelations which has been made completely for the DS.

Anyway I'm going to sleep now so ask some more questions and I will answer then some time tomorrow.

Yes, the 3D camera was not as great as I thought. The quality is rather bad and the 3D effect was not very noticeable. The camera works fantastically with the AR games though. It was absolutely amazing pointing the camera at a card and then having it create a hole in the table which you could move the 3DS above and then shoot into it, which then created a dragon where you had to shoot the targets on it's body. Hope that answers your question.

Yes, of course. It doesn't look bad but at the moment it's not up to full potential. I'd say Ridge Racer even looks like a regular DS game at the moment. Seriously don't buy it. The thing with Nintendo has never been about hugely powerful systems anyway, they are all about innovation which the 3DS does great in.

I did not see Pokemon - the new pokemon game does not have any 3D in it. It's just that some of the new cities will be polygonal rather than sprite based. It is a DS game so no 3D depth effects.

Remember when the DS came out? Yea mediocre graphics. Now look at it now - KH: Recoded has some great graphics.

In some ways yes and in some no. The 3D effect was disappointing but some stuff like the AR game was mindblowingly cool. I'm really excited for the finished product though.

The 3D effect is more about depth. Nothing pops out of the screen, it all seems to go into the screen. You don't need glasses but honestly it wasn't all too impressive.

How are the games there?
Overall they were pretty good. I'd say the highlight was Resident Evil: Mercenaries or Street Fighter, they both played well and looked good. Ridge Racer was absolute garbage though.

Does it have Wii grafics?
Similar. The graphics weren't fantastic but I'd say probably just below the iPhone standard.

Does RE Mercenaries play similar to RE4?
Right shoulder to aim, left shoulder to run. The slider aims, X to reload in aiming mode, and select weapons with the touch screen. Y to pick up items and context sensitive stuff. I thought the controls worked very well and I figured them out in a few seconds.

What is the price?
$250 dollar I believe. This was a UK event so the price for us is £220 (which costs more).
