Haven't played Maplestory in a long time now, been almost a year since I last logged on. And, I'm really sad to say, that I miss the old game much more, and hope MS 2 fixes a lot that MS 1 has broken. No more over powered items, make leveling DIFFICULT (to keep people wanting to play), make it have NO GAME BREAKING ITEMS IN THE CASH SHOP, JUST TIMED, NO STAT CLOTHING. We need MS2 to be what MS1 used to be about, fun, friends and a community. I'm serious here, to all trolls who come here, do as you please. But, I really REALLY miss the old MapleStory a lot more than the current Maplestory. And there's no way to go back to it, dead Pizza Slices aren't going to crave my need of finding friendship, and helping out newbies. I still remember when one of my best friends was a newbie I found running from pigs in pig beach, and he was spamming the F5 button, it was funny, so I killed the pigs for him and we became friends for a long time... until he quit. He quit, because of Big Bang, it ruined what he loved about the game. Exploring, difficulty and friendship. I still remember when maplestory had MMV's (Maplestory Music Videos) [url=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GyTN6xlw2ec] This one for example, is still one of my most nostalgic and favorite MMV's... [/url] It has what MS USED to be about, friendship, fun and being crazy. Remember when MS was on the news for being SUPER ADDICTIVE? That's because it was about finding FRIENDS (some girl said she made many friends IRL through MS back then.) And about having FUN, leveling was just there for fun, but we all cared about finding new things to do with friends. Like I remember when I had a challenge with my friend, see how long we could withstand the Crimson Rogs on the ship to Orbis for example... or try to hit on one of the Wizet GM's for fun, and we did. It was a BLAST, I LOVED it. Now, all you see is "Damage, fund, Mesos, (I have fun in MS by training and chatting with my guild / friends through the chat box functions.) THAT IS NOT WHAT MS WAS ABOUT. MS was about BEING WITH FRIENDS IN THE LOCATION, and EXPLORING. It was so fun to try to go through Sleepywood at a low level with my buddies and see who could get the deepest in, we even recorded it. This game has stolen A LOT of my childhood's time, I used to go into child fits when I couldn't play it due to maintenance. And as I grew up, so did the game, and it's grown out of what it was known for... being "your story". It had something no other game had in it, fun, adventuring, difference, popularity of a SIDE SCROLLING MMORPG... and best of all, NO STORY LINE. It was the perfect side scroller, because it didn't follow a story that's made up of BS. Now, look at MS, its story has gotten so side tracked Nexon is moving into Maplestory 2 due to them not knowing what to do with their current games storyline. (Don't try to correct me, this is the truth.) Thanks for takin' your time to read this, I won't be playing MS anymore, I'll probably stop by once more to try out of Eunwol and also U & I next patch, but that's about it. Have a nice day Basilers.

There were so many times I felt dead playing and the only reason I stayed was to talk with my friends.

Here's my two cents.
I hated Maple back then it was boring yeah playing withe friends was fun but the game was just dull.
The new Maple has nice gameplay cool classes and the stories aren't that bad the only thing I want from old MS is the community aspect and [b]FAIR[/b]difficulty not this p2w BS.
