i keep getting

Error 69 "Too Much Sexyness!"

You just have to run the installer as administrator. Right click the installer, click "Run as administrator". It doesn't matter if you're on administrator account already, you still have to click it.

Make sure he has the old folder for maple delted. Restart the computer, and then run a registry cleaner; I would suggest CCleaner, which you can download from download.cnet.com. Have him run a registry repair, and then have him try and reinstall it.

Did your friend use the direct download? I did that too, and it gave me the error. What I did to fix it was to use the play button, and a download manager popped up and fixed everything. =]
