Need help with roommate
Hey, I'm in my first year of University and my roommate is an international student from China (no offense, I'm Chinese but born here), and he's eating my eggs, drinking my milk, etc. when he has his own meal plan. I'm not sure if he understands the fact that I'm living off this food and I have to buy it myself but I don't want to make him upset by telling him off. What should I do to stop him from doing this?

Just tell him that he can't eat your food because you're paying for it and he already has a meal plan.
Getting your roommate boundaries straight is very important.
Spank him
Don't buy the food for some time, and if he asks why there's no food, tell him it's because you can't afford it.
Then he'll feel bad and leave forever.
try telling him that the food is the stuff you bought.
if that doesn't work, try getting a mini fridge and put it in your room.

Talking to someone you live with? That is such a ridiculous idea.
1) Talk to him about it. From my experiences, international students are very willing to learn about cultural differences.
2) If he still eats your food, ask your RA to intervene. The ones at my school make us sign a roommate agreement to prevent these types of conflict.
Buy food he doesn't like
Put a lock on the fridge, I'm serious.
Man if I was you, I would state my rules. No one have the permission to eat my food unless they ask. I do not care if he's the same ethnicity as me. I would tell him immediately. Telling him that you are uncomfortable that he's eating your food is fine. As roommates, we have to establish this before he starting to leech off me.
Give him special sauce on his food.
buy a mini fridge and hide it under your bed.

He has a meal plan, he buys his food from the food-court.
eat his food
I recommended him to go out to eat cause I don't want him to feel bad.
Thing is, I don't think he understands the fact that the food is my food because of cultural differences.
Tell him to buy his own food or show him a place to buy some cheap ass noodles.
You kind of have to tell him that you don't want to share your food.
But I had an international roommate last year. While he did introduce me to some Asian girls, he just became REALLY weird. Once Chinese people get their cars, you won't see them much at all in their rooms btw.
