First they need to fix theur servers for the live version.

No matter how many times you suggest it, it will never happen.
Everyone gets so butthurt when they see these threads because they love the exp and their damage as it is now. No one wants to go back to that. So they all feel the need to bash on your idea, even if no one is forcing them to come to these places. Besides for that, the lack of good parenting and the advancement of technology has created an entirely different generation of children that will never ever be able to mimic the personalities of the communities from pre-bb. So you will never get the same community back if this were to happen.
Now on to the Nexon perspective: "This won't make us as much money as the current version of Maplestory". Many people already bash on it and I doubt many will want to spend as much NX on old Maplestory as opposed to the current, updated version. Plus, in order to maintain the old maplestory, there will need to be someone from Nexon running separate events for old maple that do not bring in items that are "post-bb". They'll also need to update the "pre-bb" with "anti-hack" programs that were improved on in the last several years. The GM staff team is already limited as is and GMs will need to watch this server as well.
And finally, to address the positives, all you will get out of this is a flashback of nostalgia and some old events, items and maps that no longer exist. You won't get the amazing pre-bb community of ye olden days. You won't get many players. And you will whine, struggle and complain to reach 200 (if you're lucky to get it in less than a year or two, unlike now where you'd get it in a week or two).
Personally, I'd love to see a nostalgic server for a little bit but it would only serve to give me a nostalgic flashback. I will never get my pre-bb guild back. I will never get my pre-bb friends back. I've started to grow accustomed to all the post-bb changes since I returned to maple and it seems weird to return to a pre-bb server. But yeah, no one will want this and they will bash on the idea without providing a legitimate reason other than "I like this better, no one should play a pre-bb server cause it suxx bru".
