Nightlord

Unclear on Mark of the Night Lord

Some people have told me that Night Lords will be a lot better at bossing not only because of the %age buffs, but also because Mark of the Nightlord allows you to bypass the buff bosses have that make you do 1 damage. Is this true?
Can these stars attack the same monster that they came out of? Otherwise this skill seems kinda useless on singular bosses...
The stars will attack 4 mobs, regardless who is marked. If there's none left, it'll only strike that one enemy.

Also, I should note that MOTN is unfortunately not as efficient on normal enemies because the skill works the same way as Taunt, as in the enemy cannot be killed when affected, otherwise the skill won't work.

Well, they'll be better than right now because of the buffs, but yes, Mark of Night Lord does ignore Cancel Attack.

@CaOkAlberto: It's Cancel Attack. Some bosses that have it include Zak, Krexel, HT, etc.

Mark of Assassin
[Specialized Skill] When hitting enemies, have a chance to leave the mark of an assassin. Enemies marked will shoot out throwing stars when hit.
LV1: 40% chance to leave mark, Damage: 30% + 1% damage per character level, Max Enemies Hit: 2, Throwing Stars Consumed: 2

Mark of Night Lord
Increase Mark of Assassin's effectiveness.
LV1: 42% chance to leave mark, Damage: 33% + 1% damage per character level, Max Enemies Hit: 3, Throwing Stars Consumed: 3
LV10: 60% chance to leave mark, Damage: 60% + 1% damage per character level, Max Enemies Hit: 4, Throwing Stars Consumed: 4

Basically a passive AoE FA.
