stretch mark thread

what do yall think of stretchmarks? are they a dealbreaker on your Ideal Person? do you have any yourself? are they from growth or weight gain?

i have a genetic condition that gives me stretchmarks whenever my weight fluctuates even a little bit, even if its weight loss. i'm almost at a healthy weight and i'm still a zebra

As long as they aren't gross looking, but who am I to judge.

I hope that's not a deal breaker for anyone. If I can see the skin of a girl's stomach and butt and hips at the same time, that means I'm about to get laid most likely, so I don't give a crap about whatever "skin blemish marks" she has.

I have them around my hips for some reason and I don't know when they came into existence.

As long as they're not too bad, it's not a huge deal.

My older brother still has stretch marks for a long time now, four big ones on his stomach. He was 11 at the time. It is from both height growth and weight gain. He is 200 pounds and 6'1 now.
@leopard16: products are nice for fading but mine are like. deep. it's raised skin around them and then a valley. they're skin/scar colored but not normal/healed and ive had these for ~10yrs
There's always laser treatment if one's desperate enough. Anyway, you shouldn't feel embarrassed or w/e b/c of them. Everyone has them, some are just worse than others. From the answers in this thread, the majority look past the skin which is what I wasn't expecting, but it's nice to know there are a lot of people who don't mind it.

ot: idc there's a reason you're into the person ya know? I don't view stretch marks as a turn off or a turn on, but if someone is absolutely just null & voided by stretch marks then.. they probably have deeper underlying issues honestly lol

If you get stretch marks from weight lifting, it's most likely due to improper diet.
I have a little between my shoulder and chest from working out w/ no diet

OT: Don't really care, but for those who do care, there's always some products out there

I have insane red stretch marks on my chest and back from weightlifting. I've had my chest stretch marks for at least 2 years...

I have a few around my hips, it disturbs me but I've learned to deal with it. Also, they were the result of growth. It would be quite hypocritical if it bothered me when the person I like has some; I'm okay with them having some.
I have large, very deep ones on my back. They look like claw marks. I can feel them very easily if I rub my fingers along my back.
I don't know why I have them, I am and have always been thin
If they look like claw marks that sounds pretty badass tbh

They're not something I've ever noticed on a person so I don't think or have an opinion about them.

People in particular kids will eventually realize that not everybody's body are perfect and that is is common to have imperfections.
I am chill with it and I have some myself. Not sure how I could have gotten any since I am skinny like twig but w.e

I don't think it's a big deal, they heal almost completely eventually anyways...

I guess on me my only stretch marks are on my arms and shoulders, and they're more a sign of my gainzzzz

I have a little bit on my thighs from growth. Not too visible unless you look really closely.
I don't really care about them on me or other ppl.
