What nalja said might be the problem, l've summoned so many of those ghosts and killed them but nothing!
l do believe they take the level of the monsters in the map, which might be why they don't drop anything.

Either i got lucky, or you are very unlucky. I honestly didn't know shoes would drop from the sack until i saw it. Haven't cared much about the new year events...

Ah, didn't see your edit. It seems like such a rare drop for me. Still got nothing. Depressing life. I just want to open them for the achievement.

Nope, i the shoes dropped with the little ghost sack when i killed the ghost. It's a second drop that comes from the ghost. The reward from the ghost sack in the quest is the same as all the others.

Sounds like you're talking about the Fine Sifter quest. :x
That quest will always give experience until the 10th time you finish, which then will give you a 2014 mega-bit box. The one I'm talking about is where you find Cassandra's Tiny shoes from the ghosts. Which you give to her and she'll give you a Ghost Bundle. The items inside are crap. But I need to open 20 for the Winter Achievement so I can get the medal. D:

I did about 10 of them, and got the shoes. All you get is some exp reward, and another ghost bag.

[b]Requirement: Lv. 13 and above[/b]
-Event is able to be started by clicking on the multi-colored bag shown with the other event notifiers.
-Hunt down the Glowing Ghost that randomly appears in various maps around Maple World
-Summon the Glowing Ghost by double clicking on Ghostly Glow Bells that are dropped randomly from defeated monsters
-Defeat the Glowing Ghost until he drops Cassandra's Tiny Shoes
-Turn in her shoes to get A Glowing Ghost's Bundle

-A Glowing Ghost's Bundle : Random rewards, including:
-2014 Mega Luck Bit-Box
-First Rank Scrolls
-Double Fortune Mount 1-Day Coupon

I'm pretty sure that's a separate quest in which the shoes are given to you directly to hold for 30mins.
