What's wrong with changing Kenshin into a girl? There are plenty of other anime/games who genderflipped these warlords already. Like that Oda Nobuna anime.
@TenshiXIII, Date Masamune was still a mere child during Oda's time, Sengoku Basara isn't exactly historically accurate.
OT: Kenshin Uesugi practice a certain religion that forbids him to indulge himself in women. So the truth was he was actually a homo, and in order to appeal the audience the right way, Kenshin is often portrayed as a female.
The names are as follows: The family name (surname/last name) goes first, then the First name.
Ex. Shingen Takeda is really Takeda Shingen of the Takeda family. Kenshin Uesugi is Uesugi Kenshin (Idk why they made him a girl but I won't complain).
Since they want to appeal to people on the west side like myself and many others, they make it more like out language.
While Dynasty Warriors is historical to the extent of character existence, life, and battle locations, DO NOT rely on any other information. Nothing else is really too accurate.

PS: in asia they say the last name before the first name. like Yao Ming. Yao Ming's last name is actually Yao, so we should actually be calling him Ming Yao.

and meh, the sengoku basara version of them is better than dynasty warriors in my opinion.
I would've liked it if they added masamune into maple instead though, as an npc at least.
