Just finished watching toradora
Alright so I'm a guy, 17 years old. I absolutely love this anime. I don't know why but it makes me feel like crying, but I can't. It's just so beautiful. I even went as far as downloading the background song with the piano and violin(http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nUIXqwH1dEU). I can't really talk about this with my friend, since they're not really into romantic comedies, if not anime in general. It's just so gooooood! D: UGHHH

Toradora is alright. I don't really like Taiga's character though and I thought that Minori would of been a much better choice even though the anime was so obvious.
OH, and Clannad isn't that great. It is a 12 episode anime dragged out to like 40 something episodes. Watch Clannad the Movie, instead of the whole series.
Toradora! is definitely a good one to watch.
Have you watched Kanon 06, Angel Beats, and Air yet? They are all from Key, the same people who made Clannad. Expect a similar emotional anime (with some comedy too )
Yeah I watched all of Air and I enjoyed it a lot but it was kind of short =O I started Kanon and Angel beats but I don't know why I stopped. I thought Angel beats was a bit too much comedy I guess and I didn't like it much. Kanon I liked but I just never had time to continue again.
@SirMushington: Oh I see. I really liked the animation in Clannad as well. I wanna give Toradora a try right now but I have midterms next week >< Maybe this weekend I'll take a break and watch some of it.
Overrated or not, I loved it =O I never would have even thought about watching this genre of anime but I was bored one day and saw it on Netflix. I fell in love that day haha I watched it non-stop. I'm gonna have to watch this anime as well though, it seems to be somewhat similar and I've been looking for something like this.
Haha, I watched Clannad after I finished Toradora.
I didn't get the Toradora 'feeling' to it though.
im personally a romance freak when it comes to manga/anime. i loved toradora. i already forgot most of what happened though, since its been 2 years since i watched it XD
but still, the story is quite... whats the word... well, not sure of what word to use, but you get my point. probably one of my favorite anime/manga series (like top 20)
Clannad is kinda overrated IMO.
I haven't watched Clannad yet, it'll probably be the next one I watch. But if you haven't seen toradora yet, you're missing out! You've gotta watch it!
Clannad is kinda overrated IMO.
Have you watched Clannad yet? I'm 16 years old and I watched it and I almost cried when I saw it lmao. I can be emotional I guess and when I told one of my friends to watch it they laughed at me haha. My brother is also always making fun of me for it cause I watched it on Netflix on our xbox haha. It doesn't bother me though, it was just amazing. I've been looking for a similar anime and this might be it. I'll look more into it over the weekend, but if you haven't watched Clannad yet try it out!
Yea it's an great anime, the only reason I started watching it is because my sister said it was good.
lol that was just strange
what was? :O
"One more."
"One more."
"One more."

So perfect.
I personally loved it. I think it was way better than Clannad (vastly overrated imo). I found the scenarios to be quite realistic and I loved the two protagonists. Overall, for a romantic anime (my least favorite genre), I'd give it a 10/10
The scene right after the christmas party after _______ leaves and ______ tries to catch up to him outside, that music and the whole emotion of it all combined makes me wanna cry.
The scene where ____ carries ___ up the hill during the blizzard always makes me :'( the way the music blends in is just perfect.
Agreed.
