Video

Here is a 4 minute run of Escape PQ (with parts sped up) with "ticker text" highlighting the main goals of each stage. If you prefer watching the video, read below for an extended text guideOh, and at the end of the video is a sneak preview of my next project, "Tribute to CWKPQ")First how to get through the PQ. Most people don't care about all the info, so I'm going to just start and walk you through it, then go back.To begin, stage 1. This is just a jump quest. Only one person needs to reach the top, but sometimes it's best if everyone tries. Usually it just messes me up though. A few tips:1) Don't have any pets, familiars, summons, or Evans (lol...). They cover your character and make it hard to measure distances.2) Learn where each obstacle knocks you. Often you can use this to speed it up (not recommended for beginners)3) Above all, the best way to complete this JQ is to be patient, only "go" when the coast is clear, and DON'T rush unless you're a seasoned JQ professional.Generally, I find that the most helpful class here are Marksmen, as they are good at JQ's.Next, stage 2. This is easy, just kill a bunch of golems and flying vultures. Try to buff the second you enter stage 2 so that everyone gets everyone else's buffs. Good for this stage are marksmen, due to their having snipe, easily killing the possibly high level monsters. When the monsters are killed, one person goes through the portal and all come to the next stage. Then stage 3. This is the one that most often confuses parties. There are 6 towers (check your mini-map to find out which one you're in). Each tower has 4 portals (with the exception of tower 6), leading to the other towers 1-5. The only way to tower 6 is through tower 5. For example, tower 3 has 4 portals, one to 1, one to 2, one leading to 4, and one to 5. These change PQ to PQ, but not within each PQ. That being said, try to keep track of what leads to where. Also, there is a monster next to each portal, kill this monster as a way of marking where you're going. in most parties that I go with, there is a convention of naming the portals "left, right, top left, and top right". So, if the "right" portal in tower 1 leads to 5, say "right" or "right to 5", or "1 right to 5", etc... so people know how to get there. Then, go through one of the portals there, and hope it leads you to 6. If it takes you somewhere else, that is a good reason why you told others how to get there. A nice class to have during this stage are marksmen, whose double jump allows them to freely move through the towers.Stage 4 is another killing stage. Ultimates are great here. A class that I find to be very helpful here are marksmen, because pierce is awesome, being 1500% and increasing by 1.2x each monster it goes through.Stage 5 is another jump quest, a bit harder than the first. Everything I said for stage 1 holds true for here. Also, another tip that I forgot to mention earlier that would really have helped me, is while you're doing this JQ, don't have fraps running if your computer has a small hard-drive... grr. One of the best classes for this stage are marksmen, as they tend to be careful and intelligent, great for Jump Quests. Then stage 6. You have to unlock 4 cells with keys that drop from the monsters. Clicking on the treasure chests throughout the map either spawns 6+ monsters or drops a key. Go through the map doing this until you unlock all the cells. Similar to... I think every stage so far, if one person goes through, everyone goes through. A great class here are marksmen, frostprey is great for freezing and dragon's breath is great for rushing. Finally, stage 7, the boss stage. Again, buff at the very beginning, when everyone's together and before the thieves flash jump away. Then go kill ani. It's pretty simple, though it may help if you bring along a marksman... I guess you probably know why by now.He will drop a key, which is the party quest collectable for Escape PQ, and you have completed the party quest! Experience is given based on your level and the average level of the party, though if the average level is 20 above you, then you do not receive experience at all, so be careful. You need a group of 3-6 people for this quest, though the more the merrier (and easier). Collecting 50 keys allows you to receive a Von Leon war belt with 2 attack, 7 in both your main and secondary stat, and 3 slots. Also notice that like all post-ascension PQ bonus items, the belt comes with hidden potential. As these belts are level 120, they are great to cube as long as you realize they're untradeable. And that's it, Happy Mapling and good luck.Resonance is recruiting 120+ in Bellocan.*Blurb*

My only problem is that the 2nd Jump Quest causes my client to crash whenever I climb the first rope (about 50% of the time).
