Ok gotta try some trouble shooting here.

Try putting in one ram stick at a time and try both slots

If that doesn't help you may have fried the cpu but I would not think so just yet on that.

Just try the rams first.

My computer was shutting down randomly, thought it might be the memory sticks' problem. It turned out to be overheating of cpu.
I placed the memory sticks back in place, now it won't get past post.
