Is my weight normal?

I'm 16, 5'6, and I weigh 188lbs. Is this normal? I'm kind of worried I'm too heavy. I've been trying to watch my weight and I've had some people tell me I look a lot better. My chiropractor, who sees me every 2 weeks, said I look way better and that I have lost quite a bit of weight.

That's nothing to lol at, especially if he's a guy and you're a girl. But even so, guys have their own different body types. I know a guy who eats stuff like roast beef all the time and he's pencil thin. He also failed the BMI test.

According to the BMI calculator, you're only slightly obese. Of course that doesn't mean you are obese because like the others said, it depends on your body type.
And keep doing what you're doing, you're doing a great job x] just don't over-work out.

I used to be around your weight and height and I was younger.
I just gave up soda and stopped stuffing my face 2 years ago and now I weigh 135.

But don't worry man, you can lose it.
Count your calories. Eat 500 calories less than you burn everyday. Make sure you get 1g of protein per lb of body weight. The fat will shed off, trust me. I used to be fat, and then I lost it all and got "dem abz" haha.[/quote]

More fat than muscle, I think. I've got some sturdy abs underneath my stomach though. xD
I really need to work out more and eat less portions.

Yeah, I'm aware I'm heavy and it sucks I do eat healthy foods I just don't get enough excercise. I've been getting more excercise in the past few weeks in gym class though. Thanks guys
