Night Walker vs. Xenonafter buff
I was debating upon whether to main NW or Xenon, but found it difficult to choose since they both look like really great classes. o.o
So I was wondering what you guys think about these classes, especially in terms of DPS and why you would prefer playing one over the other.

I haven't max funded a xenon to speak to you about how they both fare in terms of dps. For your second question I prefer playing NWs over Xenons because I enjoyed not dying while I was training and bossing. A feeling I never got to enjoy on my Xenon .

he did it because he had a cap range ring, apparently. thats what Ive heard/read
But i think i SHOULD be able to solo it once i get it down duo definitely.
Id say youd want another 200k range, before you could hellux. and obviously you know save your hypers for the jewel

KMS NW did chaos pierre with 800k lol. Just kind of hard dealing with bats atm. Once we get that patch to toggle them it'll be easy.

This is just the insight I needed! I can finally decide on maining a NW now, couldn't thank you guys enough
@Axnslicer: Nah, I pretty much only used BD at DI, Commerci, Evo, and other places with dense mobs that it OHKOs. I 1-2 hit everything relevant with Mecha Purge so there was no reason to use it for training. NW's Shadow Spark actually handles dense mobs better than Beam Dance since it's 4 seperate attacks that hit 6 mobs each. Between that and Dark Omen I actually do the mentioned quests faster than my Xenon.

Just to add, you can solo Hell Gollux with 1m range on a NW, did it the other day on stream, 83% pdr 192% boss, every buff i could find though. I easilly hit 10-14m lines on most bosses, and 20-27m lines on right hat C. Pierre.(again this is a NW)

1m range is easier to achieve on NW than DB. and 1m is a solid range to be able to duo CRA(aside from vellum)
you can solo Gollux with 1.4m range fairly easily. I do it with 1.4m clean 69% pdr and only 193%boss

i agree with this. i dont see how people can say nw is fun. its cloggy and boring

Don't you miss Beam Dance?
NW is superior to Xenon in basically all bossing aspects except extremely low funded bossing. And since you can't do high end bosses with low funding that's not really an issue.
NW is stronger and more fun IMO. I mained Xenon before switching to NW. The only thing I miss all that much is the flying skill (to ez mode certain bosses) and my status resist (cause cygnus knights can't get link).

pretty much this.if i was you I'd pick which ever is more fun, the damage comes with wanting to actually play your class
