I need some help deciding

I am a male and I have been married for 7 months, and I have a bachelors med degree, and would hopefully have a stable enough household before I conceive.
Yes, I know, it's childish asking basil, and I'm probably not gonna get much serious advice except from the experienced ones,
But, my wife and I have been debating. She's ready to conceive, yet, I am unsure if it would be okay yet.
We have a pretty steady household, but, i don't know if it would be good enough to care for a child.
Should we try for a baby? Or should we wait? If I tell her we have to wait, she will be really disappointed, however. And I don't want to upset her, I just don't want to screw up our relationship or our lives. Should I wait? And if so, how long?

You might want to start talking to your wife about projected costs that the two of you will incur when caring after the kid as an infant. Diapers and baby formula if you use them can be costly.. but don't let financial circumstance detract you from making a baby. I worry more about adjusting to a new infant the first couple of months.

Remember, infants are the perfect little parasites that a parent could ever love. <3
