@FightTheWar: You're right. I wont find that. But i'm sure Canada doesn't have it as bad as America.

Regardless, that wasn't the problem. It's the ignorance that is INDULGED in this country. The oppression only adds to it but the past is one thing that cannot be changed. And with the way this country is going, the ignorance wont change.
You might just want to look up Canada's issues with their Natives, it seems they're actually worse off than the United States right now. By the way, the notion that the Natives were somehow 'peaceful, loving people' is not accurate either, surely you must know that the tribes fought wars with each other just like Europeans. I don't condone what happened to native people, but I certainly am not foolish enough to fall into the liberal fantasy notion that they were all 'peaceful and loving'. Though I do agree with your statement about calling them 'Indians' being stupid, I think 'red people' fits them a lot better than Indians (at least that's what Fhyl says, and I agree with him), Indians are people from India.

@FightTheWar: in this 'land of milk and honey' we are allowed free speech, but unfortunately the people of this country take the privilege for granted. Instead of using our freedom to make a change, we use it to indulge. Yolo this, yolo that; swag this, swag that. Don't get me wrong, this IS NOT all fo our country and it's a very broad and extreme generalization but this country is nothing but pure ignorance.

This country was deemed absolute crap the moment they set foot on this land and took the land from the NATIVE Americans. (it make sme sick to my stomach they still call the rightful owners of this land INDIANS). After that they slaughterered millions of people and covered this land of milk and honey of blood and shame. 400 years of oppression for a people who did nothing, followed by ignorance grown into the children. This country is sad. I am ashamed to call myself an American.

@Dan237: I was going to say that. And it;s only natural that I act like the society I was born and raised into.
I am in no way saying that Obama is the ideal candidate. I agree that government spending should be more regulated, but when you say that he did nothing positive during his term, you are wrong. Even Romney has admitted to this. Paul Ryan hasn't, but he is gigantic moron/hypocrite, so who cares what he has to say. I know that the unemployment rate, in comparison to what it was during Bush's term, is much better, and is still lowering.
I do agree that the debate on same sex marriage should not be at the top of the agenda, but that does not mean that it can just be pushed aside. It is ridiculous how long homosexuals have been arguing for equality, and it should not have to continue any longer.
Then there is the issue of of medical facilities. Most people cannot afford hospital bills, and must depend on healthcare. Many, without it, would die. It is very easy to call people who rely on welfare parasites to the country, and some of them are, but many others who do work just cannot pay for everything. I cannot fathom how throwing more taxes on them by cutting taxes for the rich will stop people from depending on welfare.
Ok, for purposes of not being like Michael Moore (kind of weird terminology, but it basically means never giving the person I'm arguing against any credit, even when they do something right), I will tell you some things Obama did right. His role as Commander in Chief of the armed forces during the assassination of Bin Laden was textbook on all levels, he gave the order, stood back and let the SEALs do what they do best, then as soon as the raid was over and the SEALs were withdrawn, he called the Pakistani President and informed him of the raid. Those were all the right decisions and I give him credit for it, honestly, I would have bet money before hand that if he found out Bin Laden was in Pakistan he would have tried to 'cooperate with the Pakistani government to bring Bin Laden to justice', and had he done that the compound would have been long abandoned by the time any troops arrived. But, he didn't, he did the right thing.

Another thing Obama did right, he ended Don't Ask Don't Tell. There's no reason an otherwise capable, professional person who is a homosexual should be barred from serving in the military. That does NOT mean they have permission to show up to work and act flamboyant, promiscuous, and unprofessional, as everyone in the military is, and should be, held to the same professional standard while on and off duty. However, someone's sexual orientation should be irrelevant in that area.

I'm sure there are a few other things that he did that I agree with, but I can count them on a single hand. Overall his presidency has been a disaster and I don't agree with the direction he's taken this country. Healthcare should be handled on the state level (the way Romney did it, and the way it's done in Canada) if it must be government run; we have a large country geographically with over 300 million people, state governments are better able to handle the needs of their local citizens than the federal government.
Current jobs that are needed? @_@_@ There aren't infinite jobs, and we can't just make jobs out of nowhere if there's nothing to be done or no money to do it with. The only way we can possibly either create more jobs, or fix a system that is falling apart (the need to work to survive,) is through a redistribution of wealth. It solves so many other problems too. The only argument against it is the "feelings" of the rich folks. Feelings vs pragmatism. Feelings vs ratification of issues. Yeah, time to redistribute the wealth!
How exactly does that create jobs? To be perfectly honest I'm warming up to the idea of renewable energy, if for no other reason than because of rising oil prices, subsidies (which I am and always have been against) and the fact we buy oil from middle eastern countries that hate us. I am honestly hoping that people realize that if they really want green energy to take hold they HAVE to make it profitable and practical, nobody is going to use it if it's $10,000 or more on average compared to petroleum based products. I believe when the technology advances to a certain point (which it will when oil becomes too pricey, though I don't believe the government should set it up to be expensive, despite what Steven Chu thinks) then you'll see green energy advance. Personally I am a HUGE fan of using geothermal energy, we should look more into that.

Anyway, the point I am getting at is the private sector and free markets have led to great advances in technology and distribution (compare an American grocery store to the Soviet food distribution and you'll see what I mean). When green energy really takes root in the free market (which I believe it's already started to) that's when you'll truly see more green jobs and better green products. We don't need to steal money from rich people to do any of this.
Oh really? How will they do that? Tax cuts to the wealthy in hopes that they will throw more jobs into the economy? Or the hope that they won't move their business out of the country, bringing the jobs with them? Yes, I understand that the wealthy provide jobs, but cuts after cuts are just going to suck the lower class dry. Not everyone is rich. And who needs education? Let the lower class stay stupid so that they could just work their entire lives while the children of the wealthy can receive a proper education so that they may grow up to maintain those riches. Let's move on the basic human rights. Why don't we all just let Romney decide what is the right thing a woman can do to her own body. And the homosexuals. Darn those dang homosexuals.
You do know that European countries spend less on education than we do right? Maybe we should try to spend smarter instead of spending more. I agree we need more government regulation (meaning we need to regulate the government more, it's spending far more than it should be spending). Unfortunately, and Snovvy realizes this, technology advancements have made past systems that allowed mass employment for assembly lines obsolete, and people have to learn to adapt to the current jobs that are needed. As for homosexuality... we have bigger problems, why are we wasting time one something so minuscule? (and that criticism is aimed more at the Republicans)

If you honestly think I believe that suppression of different groups is positive you clearly don't understand my message. It's not trolling, it's expressing an opinion. Look, there was a time in this country's history when the federal government didn't spend itself into oblivion with wasteful spending and entitlement programs, if Romney/Ryan are going to save this country from collapsing in on itself like a black hole I'll support them over Obama any day.

You guys realize that 99% of those commercials bashing on each of the candidates are blown way out of proportion and are greatly exaggerated, right? They don't include the whole story for either side. They don't weigh in all of the facts. All they do is find something exploitable and show it to the public to make the opposing side as evil and as detrimental to the United States as possible.

Anyone who listens to political advertisements and takes them seriously is a sheep.
No, when it comes to Romney a simple 10 minutes of research will show you that he is an evil man lol. You'll see what he does with Bain Capital, and things of that nature. political ads do what they are supposed to do, but Romney isn't much better that what the ads show him as.
