Does Ray of Redemption actually work?

Heal your party members and deal damage to enemies with the power of light.
Max level: MP Cost 33, 6 Enemies within the range: 180% damage, Recover 800%
I have trouble seeing how this skill works. I've tried using it on my party members when they are low on HP, but it doesn't heal them.
My g/f's died a few times cause I couldn't heal her either while she afk'd in SH -_-; Kind of annoying.
I've tried spamming it like crazy too, but nothing lol. Heals me tho. Just not party. Am I not understanding something? :s

Pretty much. It's a weird glitch.

What they said, and it recovers the % recovered/number of party members. It's so slow I never use it.
