Maplestory on my mac

Hii guys,

I just got back to Maplestory about 2 weeks ago from a 3 year break!

I am playing Maplestory on my macbook pro using Parallels, which started out fine, but now I suddenly got this lag where my screen keeps giving me a blinking black screen. When I use Windows for other stuff it works fine, but just in Maplestory it starts blinking between black screen and normal.
When I started it worked totally fine, but now after 2 weeks, I suddenly got this problem. I can still play, but it's just really annoying sometimes.

Anyone knows how to fix this problem?

When I started it my Parallels desktop was at like almost 2 GB usage, so I tried to push it up to 3 GB, but I still got the problem.

And to people who are gonna tell me to buy a real PC, I won't cause I use my macbook for a lot of other stuff, and i'm not gonna buy a windows PC just for Maplestory

Thanks!

Agreed. I use bootcamp too, and it runs really well.

I don't have much experience with Parallels, but I wonder how it handles drivers? Do you have to install new drivers on the virtual installation, or is that something handled by the application?

If you can't find a solution, the obvious alternative would be to simply install Windows on a separate partition on your Mac. The Bootcamp utility in OSX makes it very easy to do so.

Yea i cleared the RegEdit, otherwise I won't be able to play at all.

It's just weird, cause it was fine for about 2 weeks, but now suddenly I got this weird stuff that's pretty annoying.

I just hope someone knows what to do, cause I tried to restart Parallels and my laptop and tried some other stuff but it's still the same..

Thanks for the answers anyways.

I think its better if you use Bootcamp instead. Having OS X and Windows running at the same time could be an issue?

I use the same method to play, but don't experience the same problems.
Have you cleared out the VideoBIOS coding on the RegEdit? I know that maple won't run on parallels unless you do so.
