Life is what you make of it. Same applies to maplestory. Some find bossing to be fun, some find merching to be fun, some find grinding to be fun, and so on.

Everyone has their own goals in this game.
I play cause I know I can still get more done, and I'm able to kill bosses so I do my dailies every week. With school starting, I'm just gonna be limiting my playtime back to weekends or even less (last year of hs o.o). With the wrong perspective at the game, you really can't do anything. It's a time consuming game, which is what I look for when I choose what game to play .

I started when I was 13. I am 21 now and I want to beat the game. I am trying to hit 50mils then after that my mission will be accomplished. then I will just go around causing chaos ksing people at popular training maps so hard their characters die and join forces with the black mage to take over the maple world and stuff.

@Singuy: "if the user doesn't have much of a problem with it". I actually have a huge problem with the cost of maplestory. That being said, I've quit long ago (and this is a pretty big reason why)

It's easy to say for people who fall under a lot of categories in both the online and in the real world. Limiting it to one potential factor isn't really fair.

Easy to say when you're godly funded.

Point of maplestory (and any mmoprg) imo would be a source of entertainment. Its cost doesn't mean much if the user doesn't have much of a problem with it.

the leveling and that is dumb (you click a button for hours), but some bosses are alright. Merching is why many play.

Drink some water.
Now look at your characters; describe them.
If they're not kawaii, you have to make them look kawaii.
That's the point of MapleStory.
To make everything look qt.
Even if you're a dude. You gotta look like a kawaii little girl.

Why isn't 'fun' one of the reasons?
